Starting with Joel's design, through Ray's and Orlando's execution, our experience was very positive. Excellent workmanship and service. Recommend highly.
I looked at several nurseries in the area and thought that Front Range had some of the healthiest trees. I will use them again.
This company has a one year guaranty for their plants. I have only one tree that appears stressed and may need to be replaced. I won't know how that goes until next Spring.
I have only minor complaints, so minor that I have not mentioned them to Joel. The bobcat left certain areas of the property a little torn up. I had to plant grass seed on the fill dirt and sloped area myself, since they did not plan to do that. We are not particularly thrilled with the metal edging used in landscaping, but I will lay brick along those borders eventually anyway. They were supposed to use P gravel for the submerged French drains they installed and connected to the front gutter downspouts. I don't think they did. It looked like they used the loose gravel and soil existing on my property instead. However, they did install vents at the end of the lines so that the water will force open a spring contraption allowing water to exit. This is probably just fine. Other downspouts out back and on the sides were submerged and extended to wild areas of the property and allowed to Daylight out into the scrub oak and pines.
I may have Front Range replace one 10 ft Ponderosa Pine in Spring. If so I may have them add a few more trees at that time and if necessary another drip line station.
They worked closely with their neighbor B-stone to provide some of the specialty boulders so that the project could be completed on time.
Overall, I really liked the work. They said if I have any issues to call them and they will come back. They suggest we might need more rock as it settles over time. They were very professional. I liked the fact that everything was in writing as we proceeded with the project. Can't really complain about anything thus far.
I have been burned by so many companies that do construction work in the various homes and states where we have lived. Front Range appears to be one of the Good Guys I have been blessed to have chosen to do business with. I highly recommend Front Range. They are straight up honorable and dependable guys. The cost seems high but for 3 workers x 3 weeks, it takes a lot of labor to do this work.
