Steve at Supercharged Electric replaced our old electrical panel and added some outlets for us back in March. He did not do all that what was on the quote (but did not discuss this with me until afterwards). He did not pull a permit until I threatended to go to Regional (6 weeks or more later) and I just found out last week that the check he wrote for the permit bounced! I kept bugging him and he came out in June and told me that he was not done and that the job would not pass inspection. He scheduled to come and fix the and quot;one last thingand quot; and then stood me up! I already paid him back in March for a completed job that is still not done. I cannot get a final inspection on this and looks like I will have to pull a new permit and pay another contractor to finish the job. I don't even know what it is that has to be done for it to pass the inspection. We have contacted Regional Building Department and they have scheduled to have this company appear before the Electrical board in September. He may loose his license over this. I will update this post once we know. In the meantime I have spent a lot of time and energy on something that should have been done right the first time. Don't use this company. I do not know what is up with them but something is not right.
GFI weren't tripped, so we didn't know what was wrong. I called
Supercharged and made an appointment. He came out as scheduled on time
and spent at least an hour trying to find the problem. It turned out to
be loose wires in the socket boxes. He only charged me the service fee,
explained the problem, cleaned up and was very professional.
We will definitely call him for future work- he is thorough and I would trust him to give a fair price for work completed.
