 + 2 moreI took Wayne Hayden to small claims court. I served him 3x, appeared in court several times and each time he filed some bogus reason why the magistrate should give him more time. He is an absolute liar. In the end he declared bankruptcy on our final day in court and I never saw a penny of my money. I also think he keyed my brand new truck the day he took his tools and walked off the job. I noticed it the next day and since I work from home and rarely drive into town, it was impossible for anyone else to have done it. I'm absolutely devastated since he walked out the day after I returned from my mother's funeral. So I had to take a loan to finish the greenhouse. This man is unreliable and after I pulled his court records, he's had break ins, money issues, fugitive at large, domestic violence... all the things that you DON'T want in a contractor.
Description of Work: Wayne signed a contract and asked for pay in advance even though the contract said PAYMENT AFTER FINAL INSPECTION PASSED. He completed 1/2 the job and got paid but never came back to finish the job. He hadn't even passed the framing inspection (which failed) and yet he was contracted to get me to pass FINAL inspection. I ended up paying someone else so I spent double the money to pass my final inspection. The greenhouse was useless for over a year and I'm just now getting it done (fall of 2013).
