Eileen Van Tilburg of “The Space Agency” real estate company was instrumental in bringing a fraudulent buyer under contract on our home in Nov 2018. Her buyer had an extensive criminal history and Eileen vigorously negotiated on her buyer’s behalf for quick possession while covering for her buyer’s missing proof of funds. Eileen did absolutely nothing to validate her client’s extremely questionable credentials while presenting the $1.6M cash offer as legitimate in every way. Being under contract with a fraudulent buyer is bad enough but Eileen did nothing but exacerbate an already bad situation. We were left with moving expenses and our lives were absolutely up-ended through the holidays. Even after the earnest money check came back as insufficient funds, Eileen called me and told me it was a “misunderstanding” that would somehow get worked out. She said she would figure out the appropriate action and call me back – I am still waiting for her call. Eileen VanTilburg is an overzealous real estate agent representing insolvent buyers for which she does zero due diligence. She’s a predator and a pretender along with her buyers – avoid at all costs!!!!
