Since our home is only 6 years old, we didn't think we would have to replace the air conditioner itself... but after phone calls with 2 companies (who wanted to charge $150 to come out on the weekend just to look at our unit) and a verbal diagnosis of a $3,000+ expense ahead of us... we were a bit scared.
I posted a cry for recommendations of honest A/C companies on Facebook, expecting a huge expense ahead of us.
Strong Heating and Cooling was one of the companies recommended to us by a friend.
On Monday morning I had already left messages to multiple companies... no one was picking up the phone.
I called Strong, and the owner himself, (Brandon) picked up the phone and squeezed me into his busy Monday schedule.
It took Brandon no time to figure out what the problem was.
As he worked on our unit he explained everything he was doing along the way. Brandon made recommendations for future upkeep of our air conditioner, and even looked at past work that had been done in our basement for both the furnace and A/C.
He gave me a fair price for his work, and was willing to make recommendations for other contractors in the area who would be able to give us the same level of service when we are ready to finish our basement. After looking at $3,000 for a new unit, we were happy to pay $145 for a simple fix.
Thank you for your honesty, and responsiveness, Strong! We will be using you again!
