Craig is a master carpenter and an artist! He is 100% meticulous with his work. He redid our bathroom vanity countertops. We decided to replace the vinyl with vinyl. Craig removed the old vinyl and put the new vinyl down. It's perfect! He had to remove the sink so I asked him if he could check why the sink wasn't draining properly. Well it's draining great now! He built a custom frame around our mirrors. Changed the look entirely! He also replaced our old light fixtures over both vanities. He had to repair the texture on the walls. I had this exact work done before by a different contractor who did a horrible job and overcharged me. Craig's work is perfect and priced fairly. He also replaced some LVP planks on our floors and you can't even tell they were replaced. Craig is a jack of all trades and a master of ALL! Give him a call. You won't be sorry. He will be my go-to guy for all future repairs!

Working with Craig on this enormous and complex project was a pleasure. He is an excellent craftsman with an artistic eye. His finishes far exceeded my expectations. He is precise with an eye for detail. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Actually, I already hired him again before he even pulled out of my driveway. He’s great. As an added bonus, he listens to 80s music!

Craig was very professional from start to finish. He patched drywall in our living room and you cant even tell it was repaired. He was very detailed, took time to explain to us what he was doing and took a lot of pride in his work. He will definitely be our go to guy for all future projects.

Craig did an excellent job on replacing some damaged trim on the exterior of our home and repainting that section of the house. He was very reasonable in price, very conscientious, and was easy to work with.

We had a wooden window sill in our shower stall that was allowing water to leak behind the shower stall tiles. Craig removed the old window sill and replaced it with a marble window sill and caulked it. He was able to repair it sooner than was expected and did a great job.

Craig did a great job of finding roof issues causing leaks. He was not intimidated by the resulting scope of the required repair work which included roof structural framing, siding, flashing and re-roofing. Craig kept me informed along the way and took care to avoid causing any additional damage along the way. This was not the first time I worked with Craig and it won't be the last, he is a great contractor with skills ranging from framing to drywall to finish carpentry to roofing.

Craig is a master of his craft. He can not only handle anything you throw at him, he will do it exceptionally well. We gave him a wide variety of projects that he completed expertly. There are people who are less expensive. There are people who can do the same job faster. However, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone who can do it better. I highly recommend him.

Following his work to expose the damage and the causes, Craig outlined what he would have to do and gave a first cost estimate – which turned out to be pretty close to the final cost. Craig showed himself to be very skilled in working with the different materials involved. He works fast but follows his plan. He is a very capable handyman and kept the project moving.

We are really pleased with the work--the deck does not wobble, feels firm, stable and straight. Craig seemed to be very thorough and concerned for the safety of the deck and the quality of his work. He also did an excellent job shoring up a couple of thresholds and repairing a damaged doorframe. He completed the jobs within the estimated timeframe (despite a later start a couple days); and at what we thought was a fair price for materials and labor. We would definitely hire him again.

I was not pleased with the final product - the finishing work was sloppy. He asked if he could "freehand" the edging detail. I said sure and regret it. The spacing of the panels were too wide. Three years later, I had the wainscoting removed and redone for a price far less. I know now that I was so overcharged for such a small project. The project only covered 9 linear feet of wall space and I was charged $4500. With another contractor, I had the bathroom redone PLUS the kitchen/dining space for $3500! In his defense, I should have been present through the whole process. I should have spoken up about my disappointment from the beginning.

Also the estimated cost was almost half the amount of the previous company's estimated value you had received. The project covered 20 lineal feet. Which each foot of work order included 1) [Member Information Removed] picture framed multi-pieced woodwork wainscott system. 2) [Member Information Removed] 1x1x6" tile mat border cap and grouted. 3) which was capped by other wood work. 4) with the installation of [Member Information Removed] commode, vanity, mirror, and lighting. The work area was well protected and your home was respected by creating [Member Information Removed] layer of protection to the work order area. Again, I thank you for the review!"

They do really good work. They are busy so you may have to wait for them to start a project. In the middle of our project he had a worker leave and kind of left him in a bind, but he covered and got the work done. We are having him look into another project at our house. Our neighbors can't believe the difference. One of them is a realtor and she was very impressed.

It is evident that Craig takes pride in his work by his attention to detail, the excellent finished surface he produced with the drywalling, the clean work site he maintained (using a wet treatment, he kept the dust to a minimum), and the extra hours he was willing to work in order to keep us on schedule with other aspects of the renovation project. We were impressed not only by his work, but also by his attitude and consistently pleasant manner. It was a pleasure working with him.

It went very well! Craig was responsive, on time and a true craftsmen. He textured and painted the walls, moved and installed a vanity light, laid tile, installed bead board and trim, removed and reinstalled a toilet, and installed a vanity.

Great! Finished early and under estimate. They came in, on short notice, to help me out in the middle of a job. My original contractor was unable to complete the ceiling texturing due to a broken machine. I called Solid Rock on Friday at about 12:30, we met at 1:30. They said they could get it done by noon on Tuesday and that the cost would be $800 (about 1,000 sf of ceilings, including two stairwells). They were finished on Monday and only charged me $700, because the job went easier than expected.
