do's check references, get in writting no upcharges with out authorization, and put penalty or bonus for completeion. Went 5 weeks over projected date
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel, promised to provide notification for authorization prior to additonal charges. Did not. Original bid $17,000 at end was $25,000 I provided most material and subcontractors for painting. Had to have husband finish job. Very sketchy on accountability of his workers. Only possitive is he was good at providing visuals of project. Started strong ended terribly!

After we hired him we had trouble with accountability. His work has been sub-par. He isn't able to tell us where the money has gone that we've given him. He has poor management skills. We had paid him $190,000 but still aren't able to get financial accounting from him and the job has never been completed. His responsiveness was good in the beginning but then we started asking for things and he didn't have record for anything.
Description of Work: We hired him for a remodeling job.
