It went well and quickly. The only problem with Mr. Appliance(IMO) is that their service call price was steep($90). The technician was right on time, professional and diagnosed the problem/fix quickly.

This company is the only one that could come within a few days. They actually said they'd come on Friday morning, but when I told them I was leaving (or hoping to) that day on vacation, the team of Mike and Brenda came out on Thursday late afternoon. They figured out right away that the defroster in the freezer wasn't working, which caused the fridge to quit cooling. Initially they said I could defrost it myself and save some money. I'm sure glad I thought I didn't have time, because they found out after taking it apart that part was broken. They did have to order in the part, but got me up and running at least until 2 weeks later they returned to install it, and a new ice maker while they were at it. Both were super friendly and cleaned up well afterwards. I was so grateful to have quick service!

My dryer wasn't working- it wouldn't even turn on. I got an appointment for the day after I called, which was nice. I was afraid it was going to be an expensive repair, but Mike determined that it was simply a broken knob. He fixed the knob and had everything ready to go in a short time. He saved me money in parts and the possibility of replacing the dryer. He was friendly and professional. I will call this company again in a heartbeat.

They did a fine job. Everything was fine. They came out and did the work. The one thing that bothered me with the last time was that it took a long time for them to get the part for my oven and that may or may not have been their fault but it took a week to get the element for my oven so I didn't have my oven for the whole week. But, other than that, they got the part and they sent the technician out and he replaced it and it was all fixed that day. They were right on time.

An older guy and a younger guy came to the house. The older man was professional but not very friendly. A few weeks after they were here the dryer began to occasionally have a light rattle. It doesn't happen all the time and I would NOT ask Mr. Appliance out again because I thought they were a bit pricey.

They only visit the area I live in once a week on Thursday.  My first call was on a Tuesday and I was able to get an appointment for the next Thursday.  The repairman was a little late for the appointment but he called to let us know he was on his way.  It took him about 45 minutes to identify the issue and let us know what needed to be done and a quote for the work.  A part needed to be ordered that he said would take about 7-10 days to arrive and a follow-on visit would be scheduled to install the part.  The part did arrive in 10 days and was installed 2 weeks after the first visit. The issue appears to be fixed. The repairmen were very professional, knew what they were doing, and kept us informed of what was happening.  I would definitely use them again.

my husband thought he could fix our dishwasher himself, but sought advice on this.  spoke with a repairman who's first question was: is it a Bosch??  it's a maytag, and the repairman gave him advice to just get a new one in words he would understand. They called back the next day, just to ask what was going on, and the owner also emailed me, with the encouragement to call with any other questions.  there was NO pressure to use them, or get MORE advice!   very professional and courteous!  the communication was then over, they did not call us again. they were # 1 on Angie's list with lots of users.

Our first appointment was in June.  The repair man replaced the igniter on our 25 year old gas dryer.  We paid him for that part and labor.  Then he figured out the heating coil wasnt working.  He had to order the part.  He came back close to 2 weeks later.  He tried to replace the part, but the "new" part was defective.  He had to leave and said he would order another part.   So we waited another week.  At that point we were 4 weeks with no dryer.  The fourth time the repair man came back with a "new" part.  The part they ordered was an igniter instead of a heating coil.  We finally got fed up and called it quits.
Like I mentioned this is a 25 year old Kenmore dryer.  It dried a load in 25 minutes.  It is the best dryer we have ever had.  So we understand that the parts are hard to find and might be defective and that is why we were willing to be patient.
I would think that a company who wants to give good customer service would have a new part they had to order more than once shipped overnight, but that is not the case with Mr. Appliance.  Also, maybe try whatever they could do to get the repair man back to fix the dryer within a couple of days, but every case resulted in waiting until the following week.
We have bought a new Maytag dryer that works great.  Despite the repair guy being respectful and knowledgeable, we will refrain from calling Mr. Appliance if we need any repairs in the future.

We have used Mr. Appliance once before and they did a good job so we called them again.  Everything worked out well and the washing machine is now working.

Not so well. Service man came out and ran the dryer and made a diagnosis without checking the machine further. Ordered parts that took a week to come in, we are now 2 weeks into repair. When the dryer was taken apart to install new drum rollers, it was discovered that the drum was cracked. Serviceman put tape over the crack and installed new rollers. The dryer made the same noise it was making proir to repair. New drum is ordered but the new rollers were left in place to ride over the crack until the new drum was shipped and installed. Also a screw was left on the floor after the servicman was done. When asked about the screw, he stated that I'd better hang onto it....A different serviceman was sent to install the drum and have had no issues since.
Overall the biggest issue was loss of time (3 weeks) and confidence in first serviceman. In the end, I would probably give this company another opportunity.

The repairman was very nice and professional.  He showed up on time, even called to see if he could come earlier, which was fine with me.  He fixed the problem and my dryer was up and running again.  I would definitely call them again.

Service was completed in a punctual and professional manner. Dryer was disassembled, blockage removed, reassembled, and tested. Took no more than 30 minutes. Fee, although likely market based, was painful for the repair of such a simple problem. Service calls are expensive these days no matter who you call.

Very well. Very professional, timely, and fast quality service.  Repaired was covered under a home warranty so the cost was fixed but when called the warranty company I specifically asked not for sears repair service which they commonly use. sears is very inconsistent in the service and terrible for scheduling.  Reccommend Mr. Appliance anytime.

He was wonderful and the price seemed standard for the area.  They were very responsive, they came out the day after I called, they were professional, they were clean, and they were punctual.  It was extremely tight but he didn’t complain about the job being difficult. He did the work fairly quickly and he cleaned up after himself.

They came out to fix the ice maker in the previous review. The technician said "we will keep working on it until it is fixed. Don't worry." He never fixed it. I gave him $200 to replace a motor which didn't help. The ice maker still doesn't automatically turn off.

First day (April 27) diagnosed the condenser leak because of a frozen drain. The condenser is above the freezer. Told me to defrost the refrigerator (24-48hrs). Also diagnosed the control failure. This took about 1 minute. $50. Came back on April 29. Replaced broken control. Also noticed a second leak source. Total time was less than an hour. $160. Estimate was for $200 but I don't mind since I asked him to fix the second leak which also didn't take much time.
