They came out on time and got to work demolishing all of the old concrete. The weather was perfect and advised us to not drive on it for two weeks, so we did not. We did nothing to negatively impact the concrete. No reason that it should have started to pit like it did. If you walked on it, it sounded like you were walking on egg shells. It then turned into tiny little granules of concrete smaller than rice. The entire drive, walk way started to disintegrate. I called right away and told him that something was very wrong. I wanted to do everything and communicate by email, because he was not very good contacting us via phone. I also wanted a trail of communication in writing that they would stand by the work. I have the written statement that they would stand by the work. He told me that he would totally come out and look at the work. When we met he said that he would be guaranteeing the work and would make it right by me. This was the last communication or contact that I actually had with the company. I have followed up several times asking about when they would be out or when we will be on the schedule. I have gotten several excuses from my emails: He is out of town, the weather is bad, or all booked up. Several years later we still don?t have our driveway repaired and the company has yet to follow up with us. He sure did forget about us and has not stood behind his word or workmanship. The driveway is not even concrete anymore it?s more like gravel.

It went very well. They coordinated well with the separate contractor (Alpine Custom Carpentry) building a new pergola. Chris was communicative, professional, and pleasant. The work crew was efficient and did a good job. The final product looks great and works very well with the new pergola. It's a bit different than I expected, but the differences actually make it look better than it would have. I would definitely use Middlebear again if I needed hardscape or concrete work done.
