Work was performed in a timely manner and in line with the price quoted. They did an excellent job of recharging the system. There was a seal leak which they also found. This cost me a bit more in labor but the time they spent was well worth it. My A/C has never worked better than it does now. As part of the safety inspection they found a light bulb that was burned out. They replaced that at no charge. I highly recommend this mechanic, speaking from another mechanic 's point of view

They did the repair on my car, but then tried to tell me that I needed over $5000 worth of services!! I laughed when I heard that. The service manager was not happy when I laughed, he said the car is going to have a lot of problems if I did not get them fixed now. The car is not even worth that much! It is a dodge durango with over 100,000 miles on it. One of the things they recommended were all four tires. They told me that it was unsafe and there was not enough tread on my current tires. I explained that I had snow tires that I would be putting on the car soon and did not need new tires at this time. I also explained that I was not about to spend that amount of money on the car. The service rep insisted that I get new tires! He would not take no for an answer. But I said no. Also they would not give me a ride from the shop to home which was 5 minutes away. I had to arrange for a drop off to pick up the car. And they insisted that I remove the car as soon as I could, since they did not have much room.
What is interesting is that I always get my tire work done at Big O, and I took the car there right afterwards. The tire company said I had another year of tread on my current tires! I went ahead and had them put the snow tires on at a good price. I still have the car, its being driven by my daughter and is still running this long (over a year later) and no problems! I have always taken good care of the car and put synthetic oil in the engine.
