Doug came out promptly, figured out the problem with the gfi circuit and got it all working. He installed the new line with an outlet on the outside of the garage. He did the whole job in 3 hours. His hourly rate is very reasonable.

Called Doug on a Friday afternoon. He came right out and found the problem, was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and replaced some old outlets. He has a nice, relaxed, friendly demeanor. His cost was very reasonable. Will definitely call on him for any future electrical needs!

Approximately three hours to take down the old light, figure out all of the pieces of the chandelier and even install a dimmer switch. It looks and works beautifully. I am thrilled with the work,

I think it went really well, Doug said my house was an easy fix but once he got into it, there was a bunch of wiring that was unsafe, he brought it to my attention and then gave me several options with prices in which to fix all the problems. There were no surprises working with him, and his prices were super competitive. I will be having him back when I remodel my basement!

Doug is a true professional and was outstanding to work with. His can-do demeanor and responsiveness are second to none. He was very communicative and willing to share his expertise while doing the job. Not only did he do the job to the original specifications, but he found a major safety issue because of his attention to detail and safety. That's something you really appreciate when you have a family. His prices are very reasonable and even with the unforeseen issues found in an older house we still stayed on budget. We will definitely be hiring Doug again when we do other projects and are already recommending him to friends.

I was impressed with Doug's persistence. When troubleshooting a problem, he never quit until the problem was figured out and fixed. During my project, Doug came up with solutions that were better than my original ideas, he nearly always had the right part when I didn't, he made cost saving suggestions, and when the work was done, I was grateful knowing it had been done the right way. Excellent service his is amazing!! He is not just my faveorite electircian he is my fav contractor on this project he is very trustworthy. He is very clean cut reliable knowledgeable. I cant stress enough how safe I feel in my home when he is working not having to worry about who is working in my home is a huge relief especially when he is around.

I made an appointment for an estimate and Doug showed up with a few ideas of how to move forward and get my job done which was installing 10 can lights in my great room and kitchen. He gave me a fair price so I scheduled Doug to come back to do the work (he was actually willing to come out on the weekend to accommodate my busy schedule which was a HUGE plus!!). He showed up on time and got the job done in the time he told me it would take and was clean conscience while he was working. I love my new lighting and recommended Matlock Electric to a few friends who have all reacted with rave reviews. He is a great electrician and a great guy. I will be using Doug in the future.
