The company was easy to work with. They said when they'd have someone out to make an estimate and provided the estimate when they said they would. They showed up on time for the scheduled service and removed the cut branches. In and out in about 20 minutes, and I wish I could scramble over rooftops like those guys!

Was very prompt with estimate. Scheduled some work to be done the end of August and it is complete and done well. The rest of the work is scheduled for November.

There were 3 guys. The main guy (maybe the Jack of Jack and Jill?) sat on our lawn furniture most the time on his phone. I wouldn't mind them sitting for a bit at all but I felt like I was paying for him to relax and be on his phone. They were lazy with clean up and were just trying to finish up and leave. We had to ask them to clean up more. Then once we were in that garden again, we saw that the stump wasn't even ground down on one edge. We want to dig up the junipers that were under the tree and do new landscaping. We can't do that as it is now. We still need to call them and see If they will come back out to finish the job. I don't know if I can update this post but if I can, I'll post if they take care of us or not. As of now, I do not recommend this company.

It went great. Emily came out the day after I called and gave me a quote. They were pretty busy because a lot of people in town were in the same situation with broken branches. Mike and his crew showed up that afternoon and performed the work in a timely manner. I had them leave some of the bigger pieces so I could use it for firewood next winter.

Everyone at Lumber Jack and Jill were a pleasure to work with, from Mike coming out to do the estimate and Emily being able to make some last minute changes for me as well. I worked on all of the scheduling with Janis who was a pleasure to work with and was always quick to return my calls or emails.
I will highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a small, local tree service. Great people to work with.
They were quick on the day of service as well as being very clean my lawn was left nice and tidy.

I met with them first to discuss what I wanted to have done and receive an estimate on the work. I met with Mike, the co-owner -- he was very knowledgeable and pointed out some problem areas with my Linden tree and suggested options to help resolve them.
After I agreed to the estimate, we scheduled a date to have the work completed. It was about 2 weeks out from the day of the estimate. When I got home from work, the job was done and I was very pleased with the results. My Linden tree looks SO much better now.

Because they are arborist the ash tree was saved to grow another day. This tree has a fighting chance with the dead limbs removed. The trees removed will give remaining trees room to grow. I asked about other garden issues an the information came freely. So we choose this company on the spot.

Basically, they were more expensive, but they were professional. We ended up getting a couple of bids and they actually came down to a very competitive price. They were not really competitive to begin with, but then, they were flexible in their pricing. They were customer-service oriented. They did pretty well anyway that is why we chose them, but their price was a bit off-the-charts. They came in a time that they were not supposed to. They said that they were in the area and said they were coming. They were early, but they were like re-shingling a roof or something in the area. It was like a surprise. It would not be cool.
