I was quoted a $20-40 Fee to check my car out. When we went to pick up my car they said the final charge was $80. When I reminded them what my original quote was, they said it took longer to check it out than they thought and that they SHOULD be charging me $120. I would never have left my car with them if they had quoted me $80-120 originally. It left me asking myself, are they so inexperienced that they can not determine what may be wrong with the car when you tell them the problems you are having with the car? Not to mention the fact that the person helping us got into a squabble with another employee right in front of us. I hadn't seen that in a while, if ever. It was uncomfortable. I would never refer anyone to them- ever.

Navid, Adam and the team are amazing. It's like taking my car to my big brother's store. This time was a routine oil change, but I've had a lot of work done. The guys are honest and will tell you what you need, what can wait and what you don't need at all. In addition to being very honest and hard working, they will go out of their way to accommodate you. If you need a ride, they'll come get you. If you need a loaner car, they have rentals and If you're in Africa for work and you left your car with them, they'll email with you to make sure your car is ready for you when you get home.
On top of that, as I was moving, the guys were sad to hear. I asked if they had any colleagues in the area I was moving to. They said no, but asked me to please keep in touch. They also offered for me to call them anytime I take my car in at my new place, and ask them if the repairs sound right. They know my car, and me. I wish I could bring them with me.
I would bring any car to them and trust them implicitly. Their work is great and they will remember your car and your face even after the first appointment.

We were in Ft Collins to pick up our son and then head to Salt Lake City. Friday night our Explorer started smelling and the wheels were smoking. Saturday morning we took it into King's and they diagnosed the problem and went out of their way to make sure it was done by early afternoon so we could continue on our vacation trip. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service again. Our son, who lives in Ft Collins, has had good experiences with King's as well.

On Friday, the Check Engine light came on in our van. We were anticipating driving it over 300 miles over the weekend, so I made an appointment with King's to check the diagnostic codes on Saturday. We made plans to rent a car from a local Enterprise location to cover our needs for the weekend. On Saturday morning we took the van to King's and found out we could rent a car from them. The rate was reasonable (less than $20/day) and the hassle was minimal. I don't think there was any additional charge for adding my spouse as an additional driver. The clerk told me that their rental business is primarily for service customers. Early Saturday afternoon, King's called back and told us there was nothing seriously wrong with the vehicle. According to them, the computer reported 2 diagnostic codes that had set off the Check Engine warning. They tested the affected systems and found no problems. They road tested the vehicle and the Check signal did not return. So they recommended we go on driving the car and see if the warning returns. My spouse returned the rental car (which was a fairly recent Ford Taurus in very good condition), and because it was the same day, they didn't even charge us for it. They even offered to credit us for the $20 worth of gas I had put in the rental when I expected that we'd be driving it for 3 days, but given that we had gotten good use from the car, we declined that (fair's fair). They charged us $47.24 for the diagnostic work. So, although they didn't actually do any repairs on our van, they treated us well and were quite helpful.
