To write a review about Nick and his work I think it requires an explanation on how our partnership began. I owned the Cheyenne and own the Fort Collins Candy Store Emporium. Cheyenne was my first location. After I secured the lease, I went to Home Depot to look for bead board for the candy store counter. As I was shopping for the bead board, I noticed this burly guy with a large piece of cardboard that turned out to be his shopping list. I excused myself and asked if he was a contractor. I told him I just signed a lease to open a candy store and asked him if he had time to help me build the counter. He did. I showed him my concept and schematics and he agreed to meet me at the location. He accepted the job and took my plans and modified them to make the counter stable. Together we build an eighty foot counter...in only a few days. This counter was so impressive that almost everyone who walked into the store was taken back by its beauty. It was spectacular. It was better than I could have ever imagined. A year later, I called Nick to tell him I was moving the store to Fort Collins and to ask him if he could help me reassemble and edit the counter to fit the new space configuration in Fort Collins...he did and he reconfigured the counter. In addition, he built a platform in the store front window, that was more exciting than my original vision. A few months later, I asked him if he could help me run a wire support system in the ceiling for additional lighting and seasonal decorations. It was beyond my expectations! Even the neighbors with other businesses asked me how was that achieved. Everything...EVERYTHING Nick ever built for me was so amazing and far beyond my concept and vision...and I even came prepared with 40 years of design skills, concept drawings and architectural cardboard models! However, I think more than his exceptional craftsmanship was the fun and joy of working together. Every day was FUN! I recently called Nick to ask him about recreating the third counter when I reopen the candy store (after being closed for a year during this pandemic). I was over the moon to hear, yes, he would help and excited about working again, with Nick. Thank you Nick for helping me bring my concept, my design, my dream to life. This time, the counter is going to be even more spectacular! I’m I was so lucky to have found you. I am so glad I walked up to you to start that awkward conversation. I am so grateful for your knowledge and talents. I can’t wait to work with you again! I had a whole year to think about the third counter. It may be the eighth wonder of the world! But more important....the dream team will be together again. You are a great talent and a great friend. I always think about how I met you and it validates that I surrendered myself to the universe...and the universe always rewards me.

I have hired Nick for several projects including a full finish of the mother in law apartment above my garage. He did the framing, drywall, paint, windows, trim, doors, kitchen and attic insulation. Nick is very knowledgable and easy to communicate with. It’s great to hire somebody who can do it all!

The guys at fossil creek constructions were great. From the planning stages in the beginning through to completing the work they were polite, on time, answered all of my questions (even the simple ones) and completed the work in a super clean and professional way and ON TIME which was very important for me. 10/10 would hire again.

Nick and his subs were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I felt like he had my best interest in mind throughout the project. I would definitely use him again in the future.

I have had a great experience with Fossil Creek Construction...and have used their services through out my home. Quality is my number one priority - and FCC workmanship is top notch. Cleanliness - the worksites are tidy, organized and neat. Communication- the dialog around schedule, budget and design is open and honest with no surprises. Safety- always felt safe with the FFC crew in my home and around my family.

It was a pleasure working with Nick. He provided quality work, quickly. He gave me regular updates on how the project was going and took the time to explain my options. He performed the job with integrity and I would highly recommend him.
