Great experience with everyone involved! Annette in the front office got us scheduled right away and was very kind. Our salesman Randy was incredibly friendly and professional. We never felt pressured to make a decision and he was extremely knowledgeable and generous in answering any questions we had. Louis and Jerry, our installers, were top notch and respectful of our home. They were careful bringing equipment in and did an incredible job installing everything. Both were very friendly and easy to work with during the install. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks again to all involved! Highly recommend!

Heat Pump - Install or Replace
Late in the afternoon and deep into the furnace project in my home, I was told that I needed another wire in place for the new furnace and they would have to knock out a piece of my wall to do that on the next day. Surprise! They would not/ could not repair the hole left behind. Their remedy was to give me a Honeywell thermostat instead of the energy saving EcoBee I had requested. When calling in to the city of Loveland regarding a rebate, I was only then told by a Loveland City employee, that my new thermostat and furnace did NOT qualify for any rebates, because the (already installed) unit was graded as an 8 rather than a 9, needed to qualify. Surprise! After paying $7,700 for this job, I was disappointed that there were NO rebates to help defray my cost and that my new system was no as energy efficient, which was my main goal. I WAS told that my new system would/should bring my energy bill down greatly from the previous old furnace. (Duh!) I was also notified by an invoice that I needed to pay the entire bill upfront on the day of installation or the bill would greatly increase by over $1,000. Another Surprise!! I felt that upfront and honest communication was lacking. I was given only the good news, and not the bad news which would have been nice to have available so that I could make the decision on what would best suit my needs after having All of the pros and CONS given to me. (Perhaps they thought that an elderly single lady could not do that?) The first day two men were working on the furnace, the second day only one of the men came back, and on the following third day a specialist was sent out to check and reset the thermostat which was not working correctly. Today, day 4, everything seems to be working well, fingers crossed! The good news: I felt that this company had all supplies needed on hand, had trained technicians, and did send out a specialist to ensure that everything was working well immediately after the work was completed. They were very neat and put drapes down on my stairs and carpet. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris. They changed my thermostat to a higher and more expensive one than the cost of the original one, which they said was at their cost. If forefront communication had been done honestly and completely, I would have given this company a higher rating.

FOCO HVAC was, on the whole, very good to work with. Their sales person, Dave, took the time and trouble educate me rather than just sell me equipment. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. My only negative experience had to do with the "go to" humidifier they recommended. This pass through humidifier dumps ten gallons of heated water a day (approximately) down the drain. I was not told that until after installation. I asked them to replace it with a water saver humidifier, which they did.

Although the ultimate product was satisfactory, the workers required close supervision by a company manager even though I was told when I agreed to hire them I was advised that their "most experienced" workers would be doing the work. I identified a fresh air return system that was initially installed bulging out of the wall frame which would have blocked a door opening and made it impossible to install drywall. This resulted in the installation being redone. In the bathroom, the fresh air run was placed in a section of the ceiling that left inadequate room for the planned integrated ceiling fan/light. Rather than having the work completely re-done we gave up on the integrated fan and resulting in our electrician having to install a regular fan in the original space and a light installed in another section of the ceiling. Had they followed the plan that was provided they could have realized that they needed to run the duct work in another section of the ceiling leaving room for the oversized fan/light. The workers were courteous and completed the work on time even with the necessary "adjustments". The bid was very competitive and overall reviews on the company are good which resulted in the decision to hire them.

I just had Fort Collins heating and air conditioning come over to inspect the furnace. because another furnace company keeps telling me I need to replace it. FCHAC said it was just fine. I then hired them to maintain the furnace and the air conditioning.
