They've been working on my cars for years and always do a great job at a fair price. I trust them with my 98 Mercedes SLK230 (Kompressor) and my 87 Alfa Romeo Graduate, as well as my wife's 2012 Chevy Equinox, too. They give me the straight talk and always quote the price to me prior to proceeding with the work. Good People!

It's full fare in here, whether they fix your problem or not. You feel like you've seen a lawyer, who bills in quarter hours, rounds up, then loses your case.

I felt like they were very honest and forthright about the problem, and their pricing was fair.  We had been told the car needed new shocks, but he thought they were okay, so we held off on that.  We've taken our car here twice so far, but definitely plan to come here any time we need a repair.

I know that Fort Collins Foreign Car Service does not have alignment capabilities in-house, so when our BMW Z3 showed signs of unusual tire wear (scalloping and excessive wear on inside edges), I took it to a place I had used before for alignment. They could not align the car due to a reported problem with the and quot;tie rodand quot;. They quoted a price for that repair plus the alignment.
Rather than have them perform that service, I took the car to Fort Collins Foreign Car Service where I have had great experiences before with car repairs. The owner, Bill, put the car on the lift and determined it was not the tie rod at all, but rather two ball joints that needed replacement. He ordered the parts and I returned the following day for the repairs. Bill indicated they had another nearby shop which they used for alignment services, so I had them arrange for the alignment after the ball joints were replaced. I returned that afternoon to find the work completed at the quoted price (less than the first shop had quoted). After new tires were installed by a local tire store, the car is driving like new.

Bill and crew always do an exemplary job. Estimates are true and good and the work is done in a timely fashion. He will always call if something needs attention associated with the job. Nothing unnecessary is ever added. Upon inspection when complete, the area of work is always very clean. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks, Bill!

They called immediately when they found some other issues with the car and did a great job explaining what was found and how to prioritize the work. They actually got far more done on my car in one day than expected and I will definitely be going back to them to finish the work that was identified. In my first visit, I definitely feel I found a mechanic that I can trust. I also appreciate that they take the time to explain the issue in layman's terms to help me get a better understanding of my vehicle. I joined Angie's List solely hoping to find a great place to take my car so mission accomplished!

They rebuilt one transmission and made a number of other repairs on several cars that we owned over 8 years or so. When they replace a part, they always retain the old part, show it to you before you pay the cost and explain what was wrong with it. They are among the most honest auto repairers that we have used over many years. They provide shuttle service when necessary. Once they even rented us a car when they were unable to complete the work when promised because of a parts delay. I can unhesitatingly recommend them for auto service. The date shown is only for the last repair that they did for me and the price is the total spent over 8 years.

Very well overall. Technician and owner were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They thought that replacing one camshaft sensor would clear the service indicator, but it did not (worth a try!). Ended up returning to shop a day later and they replaced the other sensor without charge for the sensor or labor! During oil change, they replaced the filter and gasket, but the gasket that came with the filter leaked. They replaced it without charge.

They are all very honest and helpful. The prices seem to be reasonable. They seem to be very trustworthy. I know that when they replace a part they are going to save the old part so that they can show me the proof. I like knowing that they are not going to charge me for something that they did not do.
