Drennen fixed a faulty radon system in our home. They took a look at what was going on and were very straight forward and honest in their approach. Every employee from the office manager to the installers exhumed care and professionalism at every step. They were extremely pleasant and kind. It was very evident that they cared about their customers and doing the job right. They also installed a radon mitigation system for my elderly father and the first thing he said when I talked to him was how nice the installers were and what a great job they had done. Both of these experiences demonstrate an integrity and honest care that is hard to find these days in any profession. I am truly grateful for Drennen and will recommend them to everyone without reservation.

I had a radon mitigation system installed on 12/18/14.  My radon was super high, 18.  We quoted out a couple of companies and the other wanted to go in my closet, through the ceiling (upstairs floor), then outside... Drenen went in my utility closet and out.  
They are contractors, so they know what they're doing... answered all of my questions, got it done and my new reading was 0.4.  They provide you with a certificate of new level which is good enough to be valid for the purpose of selling your house.  Yay!

Every aspect of the process from bid to install to invoicing was exceptional.  All the people I dealt with were top notch and made sure that everything was completed to sanctification.  I would use this company again and again.

This job was done on time and on cost... The crew was very good about cleaning up at the end of each day.. They were very pleasant to have in our home... We highly recommend Drennen's for all your remodeling needs!!

Good price. The system did not work well as the first time but they were responsive on fixing the issue.

We had a passive radon mitigation system in our new home but found the radon levels were still high. We called around to estimate the costs of attaching a fan to the passive system. Drennen was not the lowest quote but it was a good price and we decided to go with this company based on existing reviews. We were very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency and we let the office know how satisfied we were.
A short time later, we'd purchased some bathroom fans and needed them installed, so we gave Drennen a call. The estimate he gave us over the phone was $1500 which seemed pretty high to me. I let Arnold Drennen (the one who provided the quote) know that I thought the price was a bit high. A few days later, he emailed me a written quote of $1800. Meanwhile, I contacted an Angie's list, top-rated HVAC company and they gave me a quote of $500 for the same services. I had them do the work and they did a fantastic job.
I indicated that I would not use this company in the future, even though I was thrilled with the one job they completed for me. I paid for that service upon completion and gave them genuine, positive feedback. However, the next time I called to use them, I felt like they were taking advantage of my satisfaction (and thinking I was an idiot, to boot). This quote did not come from some office person, it came from the owner. And the disparity between the two estimates I received suggests questionable integrity.
A contractual relationship that isn't built on mutual trust and respect isn't worth having.

They did the work on time and exactly on quote.

The people at Drennen are very friendly and professional. They were punctual with both bidding the project and doing the job. They coordinated the removal of the old door, remodeling the opening, and installing the new door. The entire job took three days, and they made sure the garage was inaccessable during the night.

They were very professional and reasonable price-wise. They were on time, and I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Work went very well and we are please with this company.

We were provided a quote for radon mitigation on a house that tested at 24 on the Radon scale. Initially they sunk a pipe and installed a fan. We then did the test. The results were not below 4 as the contract stated they would be so they kept at it until it was. They had to come back three times (and I don't think this is because they were incompetent, it was a tough house with poor soil and construction challenges) until they got it right, just like they said they would.
We'll use them for other projects should the need arise.

The flashing and some other roofing materials were installed, along with new soffits. The workmanship is excellent.

We had a roofed porch with a wind-blocking north facing wall. The wall has one window. Drennen built the framing and screened in the open sides of the porch, installed glassblock on a half wall for privacy and finished all of the drywall to match the siding on the porch and the wind-blocking wall. The framing and workmanship, done by James and Brian, was excellent.
The screened-in porch looks like it was built when the house was built. In no way does it look like an addition was put on the house.
I would highly recommend Drennen Contracting for any project you have. You certainly won't be disappointed.

The service provided was great from the start to the end. An estimate was received quickly and work was performed professionally. I have done some research on do's and dont's of this installation and everything was done right.
The guys were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up after they were done. To sum up, this was an example of great costumer care and business excellence. I would definitely recommend them.

We recently had a bathroom remodel done by James at Drennan. James came out to do our estimate and although we had consulted several contractors, none were as thorough as James. He considered aspects of the job that no one else had mentioned, so that when we got our estimate, we felt secure that it was pretty accurate, as it proved to be when the job was finished.
Our home is over 70 years old, so of course there were a few surprises during the job, which James and crew handled with good humor and resourcefulness. James and his assistants, Nick and Chuck were very considerate of our comfort while they worked in this very small house. They were pleasant and friendly and by the time the project was done, we felt more like we were saying goodby to friends.
This was a pretty big job, including demolition and creating new or resurfaced walls, floor and ceiling, plus installation of new fixtures and shower, etc. The job was done within the suggested timeframe, with the exception of a small glitch in acquiring a new vanity and sink. But even with that small delay, all was accomplished in a timely manner.
James did a marvelous job tiling our new shower and floor. He even added little creative touches around the window and trim that we didn't expect, including suggesting some really nice looking soapstone corner shelves in the shower. He was more than happy to accomodate our ideas or to suggest alternatives that might work better. The texturing he did for our new walls really adds a nice touch to the room.
In short, we highly recommend James and his crew at Drennan. We love the job they did.

The Drennen Crew, and the supervisor James Warren, were very professional. On time, cleaned up every day before leaving and made a point of discussing each phase with us. They removed the old, small bathtub and built a beautiful tile shower, tile floors, raised vanities, granite countertops, and new carpeting in the master bedroom, guest room, dressing room, closets, and the stairway. And one of the best, built a hidden laundry shute that goes from the master bathroom directly down to the first floor into my laundry basket right next to the washing machine. I love it. The sub contractors, HiPeak Plumbing, Alan Epperson, Quality Carpet Install, Rock Solid Marble, were all effiecient and clean.

James Warren was the project manager and performed much of the work himself. His attention to detail was excellent. He expects the highest level of work from his sub-contractors and will settle for nothing less. We planned our kitchen remodel for many months but when James arrived, he gave us ideas that dramatically improved the overall project. The only glitch was with the electrical sub-contractor, Lighten Up out of Ft. Collins. James had to monitor them closely and there was an issue with the final bill from this sub. However, James made sure all ended well and made sure we didn't pay for electrical work we didn't owe. This is what we expected from the General Contractor and this is what we received. All work was inspected by the city with no problems. We would highly recommend James for any remodel, large or small.
