This is my second job with Certified Mechanical and both went as planned and very smoothly. The first averted a significant cost at the time, this recent one was because the time to retire my AC had come! I trust them to give a fair price, they are respectful of your time as they have always been on schedule and timely with responses providing options and quotes as well as answering any questions that come up.

Jason and Derek have serviced our 20 + year old furnace and a/c for years and after a winter event where it was clear there was going to be an issue finding parts at the next breakdown, we decided to replace the furnace and air conditioner. They quoted us a fair price (as noted, $6700). We did purchase our own thermostat replacement and they installed that as well as energy efficient Carrier products that have been working perfectly. For that price they also installed a Honeywell whole house humidifier and that worked great, as well. I can't say enough about Jason, he is a pro, they are both hard workers and honest as the day is long. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They are a two man operation, but they try very hard to accommodate.

After looking at the reviews on Angie's List, I called Jason at Certified Mechanical. He came out and looked at our unit and said he could try adding a hard start kit to the unit and it might buy us some before we had to replace the unit. He told us if it did not work, he would credit us back for the hard start kit. It did work and got us several more years out of our AC unit!

I never write reviews but they were really, Really great. The whole process was smooth and easy. Nate was upfront, no pitch and quotated a fair price. They were right on time and got my furnace replaced with a new one plus added a humidifier. Got it all done in 4 Hours. They offer a discount if you pay in cash dollars vs charging it.

I left a VM and an email late in the evening. Jason called me promptly the next morning. I described the issue in detail. He later waived the diagnostic fee due to our troubleshooting conversation. He had to order the part, so we scheduled his service visit for 2 days later. He arrived right on time. It took him about an hour to perform the work due to the design of the furnace. He was very professional and efficient. He showed me the workings of the Draft Inducer. He confirmed that the burners were burning efficiently and no other major issues were seen with the furnace. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.

We started out looking for a whole house humidifier; in the process we realized our aging furnace should also be replaced. We interviewed several contractors and obtained bids from each. Certified Mechanical gave us straight-forward information, and an excellent bid on the work to be done. They were able to schedule the work for the following week, and we are very pleased with the results.

Jason was very punctual, did the work faster than he anticipated, left the house very clean and explained the furnace and thermostat very clearly. His quote was very competitive. Jason is very personable and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in a new furnace!

Darren was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.  He did a great job and was very good at explaining future maintenance items to ensure we had a healthy HVAC system and to make sure we saved costs.  He was awesome to work with and I'm so glad we found this company!

So  Certified Mechanical LLC is now my go-to for my heating & cooling needs.  I had a mini-split installed a few years ago (we bought the mini-split on line) and had ANOTHER company in town install it.  All worked pretty well until we had to move the condenser from the wall outside to the ground.  The coolant leaked after that and never seemed to cool like it did when 1st installed.  So I called Jason after seeing he had good reviews on Angie's List and he figured out that there was a leak at one of the connections / he had to replace the coolant  and the cost was 1/2 of what I paid to do this last summer when the other company couldn't even figure out one of the connections leaked after putting in new coolant and moving the condenser.  The mini split is back to cooling beautifully like when it was 1st installed!

They were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Will continue to use them.

Called me back in 9 minutes!  Came over when they said they would (actually were a little early)!  Diagnosed and repaired the problem right away.  I'm never going back to the other guy, who tried to charge me $800 for a $100 part.

Repaired furnace

A/C failed in the evening. It was just over 10 years old and was expecting to have to replace it. I had assumed it was a basic contractor model that came with the home. Next morning I checked and found the compressor was working, but the fan was not. Fan motor wasn't seized. I knew it *could* just be a capacitor, but still had concerns. Our home was up for sale at the time and I needed to be sure the A/C would work.

So I made a number of calls using Angie's List reviews as my guide. Most companies were busy a week or more out, a few This was a same-day call during busy season for most HVAC companies. Most could not respond at all for several days to weeks. When I called Certified and gave them the information about the A/C status they said they could squeeze me in that afternoon. They were able to make it later that morning, quickly diagnosed and replaced the A/C, cleaned up the control board and gave me a run-down of the status of the A/C. Found out the unit is a nicer model and just needs to be cleaned a bit (and the fins should get straightened).

The price is a B because these capacitors are fairly cheap and it was maybe 20 minutes. So, yes, I could have done it myself for $20-30, but I wanted a competent tech to look the A/C and needed someone quick. I'd say it was a fair price, just not a great price.

Overall, zero complaints. Very pleased with their response and work!

Went well.  Jason checked everything A-Z and found nothing that needed attention, although he did point out a couple of vulnerable parts on the compressor that are nearing the end of their useful life and recommended when and if they go out to just wait until they do, rather than pay for it now.  Good discussion on the state of our HVAC system, very pleased with what was a basic annual service check.

Jason was very prompt and explained everything he was doing. It took two calls as he had to order the motor. But he was able to get it and install it the following day. His price was very fair and he noticed a problem with the ducts which he also fixed for an extremely fair price. I definitely would recommend them.

He was very professional, explained what the potential issues could be, worked quickly and efficiently solving a problem that other gas fireplace experts never seemed to address.  I would absolutely hire this company again.

Everything went exactly as explained to me and exactly how we expected it to go.  Jason and his crew were gentlemen throughout the whole process.  Everything was installed with no problems and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly.
