Affordable Floor Covering Repairs

Harley was extremely professional, arrived on time, well prepared, and his work was meticulous. He has a great sense of humor and is a very very nice man. We can't recommend him highly enough!

One Saturday morning my husband and I decided to do a massive cleaning project around the house. Our supplies are kept underneath the kitchen sink. When we opened the cabinet we noticed that the board where the supplies rest was sagging. Upon further inspection we realized that the towels we planned on using were completely soaked through and were molding. That's when we realized that the garbage disposal had burst in several places and had been leaking water for what looked like a while. Needless to say the sagging board was a result of the water it was accumulating and the fact that it was rotting with mold. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and could not bear the thought of having mold in the house. I immediately called Harley whom we had heard from a friend that he was good with floors and hoped that he could help. He came right away that afternoon to assess the situation and came up with a plan. He was going to remove the entire piece and replace it with a new one. The tricky part was that the cabinet was built before the tubing was placed, so the piece had holes that were drilled so the pipes could fit. He said that would be no problem. So we arranged a time for the next day, a Sunday! He was willing to come over early Sunday morning and take care of our problem. He showed up right on time with all the tools and materials he needed. He got to work right away and the result was amazing. He created a new shelf and jigsaw puzzled it with just three pieces. They had slits for the pipes and were secured with a 2x4 underneath it so we could use it without fear of putting too much weight on it. He left it better than it had originally had been built! We were so grateful for his quick response and professionalism we can't wait to hire him again for another home improvement project. Hopefully, this time it will not be an emergency. :)
