Actually Clean

Making the appointment, & the in home estimate was professional. They measured the areas I requested for cleaning & then we made an appt. w/them. The workers themselves were professional, hard working & attentive. They did the best they could w/the tools they had. But when it came time to payment there was confusion, on both sides. That's the short version. We paid them per the original estimate, along w/a tip. Owner of company was disappointing. Said paperwork was signed before they started the work. And that is correct. However, it was only because I felt I could trust what they had me sign. But it turned out I was mistaken. (not with them, but w/their boss). Even w/back & forth emails, trying to finalize what work (as a company) that they could & could not do didn't stack up right. So I agreed that we could figure that part out in the morning. They claimed the estimate price did not include the tile entryway, for example. Because that area was not measured the day of the estimate. Not true. I was there, with two of their employees when it was measured. They were very precise in their measurements. They did indeed measure & include the tile entryway. So when (what I felt were extra) charges were due, we gave them cash & a tip, according and in relation to what and which services were completed, they tried to explain the new/different charges. Once I showed them a copy of the original estimate, what amount of sq ft was listed down as already being measured, they seemed fine, even appreciative. Told them if they needed anything else, to let me know. Then I got unruly calls, emails etc from the owner that felt very inconsiderate, very unprofessional, & accusatory. He said the workers felt that if they didn't accept the payment and tip we offered, that we "threatened" them, that we wouldn't pay them at all, so they felt they had no choice. Balderdash! There was no discord that I & also my husband were aware of during time of payment. Like I said, they were professional & nice. Going back.... what got to me the most was the owner's voicemails/emails, etc..... The amount of them, What I was accused of, And all w/out just simply talking w/me first. I even offered for him to come over to the house so we could figure it out. Multiple, unprofessional, unreasonable & accusatory communication was what finally led me to do this review. There is more detail that I haven't even typed up. If I wanted, I could say more. But I'm not. To be very honest I've been nervous and even a little scared to give this review. He's very intimidating. Being enraged automatically, without benefit of the doubt, towards me as a customer, but also me as a person was uncalled for.

Very well. The two guys who showed up were very knowledgeable and friendly. The explained to us what they were doing and why. They provided suggestions for future services that they could provide without being pushy and even provided us with a free sample of some of the stain remover they used. We will call them again when it is time to clean our carpet.

They were excellent would definitely use them again

I like Dirk. He not only knows what he's doing but this guy really does seem to care about the quality of service that he's providing - in other words - integrity--a fast-dying if not already instinct characteristic in business and service. We had recently had a very negative experience with another carpet cleaning company - a well-known national chain, that basically ruined my mother's antique sofa because the new tech, who didn't have a clue what she was doing, used way too much water and too much pressure. We were understandably paranoid about having any more furniture worked on and I communicated this to Dirk but didn't need to. He's knowledgeable about his field and the chairs came out beautifully. I would absolutely recommend (and will) Actually Clean to anyone looking for a fair price and in my opinion, really top-notch quality.

Actually Clean was able to come out on short notice to clean the carpets in our newly purchased home. There were several pet stains and lingering odors left by the previous owners. These folks did an Outstanding job getting the carpets fresh and clean and they were in and out in under 2 hours. I found them to be timely, courteous, and professional and would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks for a job well done!

Solid truck based vacuum cleaning system. Long vacuum tubes able to get distant property clean sites such as our 3rd story apt. Easy to communicate with and very responsive. Will definitely use them again.

They just left in the last 30 minutes and I am so pleased I felt compelled to review now! I was referred to them by my realtor. Dirk came to my house last week and gave me a written estimate which I liked. He said he is not the least expensive or a "coupon cleaner" but that he will do a phenomenal job! I found his prices very comparable to what I've paid in the past by the time those coupon cleaners are done raking you over the coals adding on a multiple charges once they are on site. I have never worked with a company that gave a written estimate in advance. I've alway's gotten estimates by phone or coupon rates and then upcharged for multiple reasons during the job. His pricing was very fair! The result was phenomenal, they were here on time, did an amazing job and it was exactly the price quoted. They did all the furniture moving and gave me some special stain cleaner for me to use in the future. They took the area rug to their shop to clean as it sits on wood floors and they have space in their wharehouse to clean and keep it. This was a dream come true as most cleaners will take it off the wood out into the driveway to clean and there it sits with hopefully good weather until it dries enough to not damage the wood it rests on. I have also had cleaners say they would just clean it right over the wood which I've never allowed! They were very professional. This is the first time I've ever had this type of work done-was 110% satisfied and did not have to negotiate, haggle with pricing, move furniture myself etc.!!! VERY, VERY, VERY PLEASED!

Our floors were long overdue for a cleaning. They really worked at it and the results were great. It was nice that they didn't use harsh chemicals. We had some really tough stains which they got out very well. Dirk was very friendly and professional. I would definitely go to them again the next time I am in need of carpet cleaning.

Dirk & his son were very professional & extremely hard workers. By far the cleanest carpets I have ever had done... that includes 2 house med size house pets. I would definitely recommend "actually clean" to anyone who wants above & beyond carpet cleaning.

went very well. he showed up with his equipment, and i left him and his staff to the work. i returned home to find a cleaner carpet.

The gentlemen were prompt, professional, kind & respectful and took care to move furniture, put the wool area rug out on the porch to dry, wore booties, protected my walls and floors from equipment scratches, etc. They put concentrated effort into making sure everything was done "just so." I truly appreciated that kind of fantastic & exemplary customer service! Also, I've never had a carpet cleaning service get my carpets so clean without ANY spots returning. Love them! I will use them for as long as I live in the area and they are willing to provide the service.

He got the bad spots up and even was able to remove stains in the main area that another could not. We saved money with them because otherwise we would we would have needed to replace the carpet.
