Hanson Tree & Lawn Service

After trying several companies on Angies List with no success, I went with a recommendation from a long time local landscaping worker to call Ira Hanson of Hanson's Tree and Lawn Service.  He got back to me right away to set up an appointment and he kept it showing up with some of his crew to assess the project.  My lot is very steep with a narrow street.  After some discussion, he decided it was possible although his truck would block the street for a few hours.  Since there are other ways in and out of the neighborhood, we decided to go ahead.  Within a week, Ira was back with his truck, tools and crew and got most of the work done on the first day.  It had to be coordinated with the contractors working on my house remodel for safety issues, and Ira took care of getting this worked out with the construction crew.  They came back the next day for me to check out the work, and I added one more tree that was most likely going to keel over soon because of a split main trunk and we settled on the cost adjustment   I updated the estimate sheet and mailed him a check.  I'm happy with the work and impressed with the speedy service in light of all the work going on due to the Waldo Canyon Fire.
