Advanced Sewer & Drain

At first, I was really impressed. They made a clear proposal, showed up on time and had modern equipment.They had difficulty locating the drain line outside and ended up digging up a large part of my front yard. Because they did not first remove the sod, I ended up with a yard full of rocks on the surface along with ruts from the backhoe. While the owner said he would repair any damage, when I pointed out the damage, he did nothing.A couple of days later, I noticed water in the basement. Luckily there was a contractor on site who traced the problem to the drain port Advanced Sewer and Drain had been using for imaging during the excavation operation. They had not replaced the port cover properly (this is a new cover so there is no reason for this)! As a result, I had to clean up the sewage backup into my house.So did they do a good job? At this point, I have no confidence that they did anything right.When it came time to turn on the sprinkler system, I discovered that they had managed to destroy most of the front yard system without informing me. There is no way they didn't know (one line had been dragged a couple of feet through the soil). but pretended at the time that everything was OK.

It seemed like a simple job.  Rich (the owner) used a high pressure tool that he stuck down the downspout that cleared out the other end of the pipe.  Then he dug out that other end quickly using his hand.  The entire job took "maybe" 45 minutes.  He was very friendly and was good at his job, but I thought $289.00 for 45 minutes of work was a bit outrageous. For this reason, I would not hire him again.

The great thing about Rich is that he can inspect, clean, and repair the sewer/plumbing all in one visit.  He is very considerate and knowledgeable about his business.  I would recommend his services anytime.
