I met the owner/operator of High Rockies Services, Nick, at a downtown business last winter by pure happenstance. I noticed the big snowplow rig he was driving and inquired into the nature of the business and more specifically, their capabilities in dealing with extreme snow and ice buildup on combined business/residential properties. He was not only very friendly but had knowledge of our business location and its access configurations. He was also familiar with the long-standing challenge for any business located on Main Street, a major thoroughfare with high traffic loads year-round, especially in Winter given the proximity to the Breckenridge Resort area. Each winter, we fight the excessive snow and ice build-up along the road and around our building due to the high volume of city and state snow plowing activity required to maintain the roadway for the safe passage of traffic. Our business parking entrances as well as our front door/main entrance is often buried in ice and snow. These regular buildups prevent any business access and often our own ability to exit the premises by vehicle. Our manual shoveling and use our snowblowers was in vain. I asked Nick to come by and look at our present ice/snow blockage if he had free time to do so. I provided contact information and confirmed the address. Given my experience with contractors of any type on the area, I had little hope that I would hear from him again. To my surprise, Nick himself stopped by our place early the following morning while on his way to another client location. Not only did he completely remediate our ice and snow buildup issues on that very visit, but he also identified and recommended steps that we could take to help mitigate the ice/snow buildups that were adversely affecting our operations. The work of High Rockies Services was more than timely, of high quality, and reasonably priced. In fact, all our team members were impressed with the professional and convenient nature of our engagement. We will continue to use High Rockies Services for all our snow and ice dam removal needs. You simply cannot go wrong by hiring these great local people if you have a home or business in Summit or Park County Colorado.
