It feels as though Lenny didnt want my business. He fixed our roof, yes, and his people left trash hanging off it. Then as we hired him to repair our siding also, I was waiting to hear from him and he didnt return my attempts for contact twice, for a month at a time.

Lenny listened to my request for information about installing a metal/steel roof and was knowledgeable on the advantages and disadvantages of them! He and his team had experience in the installation of these "stone coated steel" roofing products and found a way for we to afford the up-grade. I am very satisfied with my new roof and will likely never have to replace a roof again in my lifetime (50 year warranty)! I'm also in line for a major savings on my homeowner's insurance because of the steel roof!

We are thrilled with our new roof and the work they did. We highly recommend them!

I was looking for a roofer to replace my roof in light of a pending home sale. I met Mr. Roundtree at my house on 16 January 2020. We agreed and signed a contract to replace the roof for the house and detached garage for $10,000. He and I signed the contract accordingly. We did discuss that I had received a bid for 25 squares (2500 sq ft roofing surface) as well as a larger bid (28 squares I believe). I made it clear that the bid was based on a roofer who had not physically been to my property. He further stated that he would review measurements based on satellite images and even stated the final price may come in a little lower depending on the total roof area. He bid lower than the other bids, so I agreed to work with him. We both agreed that the roof would likely be done by the end of March, weather permitting, although this was not in writing. As I was moving out that week, I let him know that any date would work for them to come work on the roof. He would let me know when the roof was finished and I would pay the remainder less the $5000 deposit on 16 Jan. I reached out on 17 March 2020 in regards to when he thought the job may be scheduled. The weather had been calm, sunny and dry. I sent pictures on this day with a dry roof except one small patch of snow. He reassured me later that day that they would be finished before the end of the month. I informed him that we had scheduled a closing by the end of April and the roof had to be completed by then. On the first of April, I again contacted asking when the projected finish may be, as no work had been done. He expected to have a date in the next two weeks and would confirm by 6 April. On 7 April, I asked again with no response until 9 April. He said he would **get it** On 13th and 17th we talked about doing the roof on 20th but changed to 22nd because there was still too much snow on 19 April. The roof was done on 22 April. Mr. Roundtree called me just before 8 AM and said that when they arrived, they realized the roof was bigger than they expected and would need to get a little more supply. I agreed to this, knowing that we only had 3 days left to finish the roof or it may affect the closing on the house. I had arranged with him that I would stop by the house around noon. It was when I arrived around 12:30 PM that he informed me of the price increase. He said the roof was actually 3500 squares (3500 sq ft) and the total cost would be $14,000. At this point, all the old material had been removed and the new shingles were more than half installed. I was not informed of a price increase, other than the mention of a little more supply, before this point in time. I inspected the project site later that night and noted the job had been satisfactorily completed. Before this day, Mr. Roundtree had visited the property no less than two time. On 23 April, I called Mr. Roundtree to arrange payment, receipt and assurance that the warranty could be transferred to the new owner. I further asked how the estimate was so discrepant from the actual price. Specifically, I asked how to explain a 40% increase in cost. He explained that the total price was based on area of 35 squares at $400 per square as we agreed. I asked if he could provide the roof measurements that add up to roughly 3500 sq ft to substantiate the claim. I was told that the figures were not written down. As I realized I needed a paid invoice to close on the house as planned on the 27th, I did not feel I had a choice other than to pay the requested amount. He was not willing to negotiate on price.

I highly recommend this company. Lenny, the owner explained some things to me prior to the job starting. He is very professional yet personable and friendly. I love my new roof! They did an excellent job!

I am a huge fan and highly recommend Roundtree for any roofing job that you would need. You work directly with the owner, Lenny, who gives you the straight deal without any upselling and a very competitive price! Roundtree fulfills ALL of their promises and the roofing crew is fast and left my property cleaner then before the roof repairs! All told, Lenny and Roundtree is the only roofing company you will ever need and you too will become a big fan!

I am glad I used Roundtree on re-roofing my mountain cabin. It was easy dealing with Lenny Roundtree. The bid was a fair price for the job and it was done in a day. On top of that, the roofers even came days earlier than planned which was appreciated with the winter coming on!

Nice work on the roof and clean up after it was done. Lenny was willing to work with me on scheduling the project as I have an unusual work schedule and I'm gone a lot.

Took awhile to get through by phone initially. However once I got Lenny's attention, he was excellent in communication. Got the job done. Nicely cleaned up.

The only problem I had was that they arrived a day early. Mr. Roundtree said he didn't know until the evening before and he was afraid he would awaken me. The roof looks great and I'm very pleased with the results.

There were some initial delays, but these were weather related. My husband and I had seen roofers working on my parentâ s house back east, and they would start out great, then disappear for a few days before completion, trying to work multiple jobs at once. Not these guys! When they showed up, they stayed all day from early morn till evening to finish. They ran out of shingles but came back early the next day ( Saturday!) and completed an outstanding job. We are very impressed with their work ethics, and extremely pleased with the work they did for us. Highly recommended!

They were prompt and did a great job. After a complete cleanup, the roof and the yard looked brand new. Lenny was great to work with. I would use him again.
