Working with this company from the techs to the owner was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any company.

This company is always does excellent work. They work to accomadate special requests which is incredibly rare in this day and age. They are professionals in every sense of the word. We have used them for about 10 years and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job and were extremely and quot;neatand quot;--putting down towels so as not to track in soot, vacuuming up their and quot;messand quot;. Also, I asked (on the fly) about dryer vent cleaning, and they added that to the job on the spot and did a GREAT job.

Overall it worked out alright. I was quoted a price by a woman who I was told had since been fired for quoting too low and then was told that I had to pay extra. The did appear to do a good job but we had to pay more than we were told. I did call the owner and told him about the cost and he told me that if I didn't like that I had to pay extra he would just tell his men to leave the job right then. The gentlemen that came out was very polite.

I like their service.  They are very professional and do a good job.  Their price is average, I know there are some people that do it cheaper but I do not know if I trust them but these guys are trustworthy.  The owner of the company Jake, has actually cleaned chimney in The White House.  They let chimney sweeps that rank-high come do it for free, but he has been asked to clean different chimneys.  He would not do just anybody's.  He has also cleaned our chimney, I like him but now he has different people that work for him.  In the old days I used to get Jake, now I get some of his workers.  They tell me what is going on.  Once they had come back to do work for free because we had a problem that was actually quite complicated but since I am a good customer of theirs they did not charge me.  They have good quality service, they are honest and keep records on me.  They do let me know when there is a problem.

We have a large chimney arrangement that serves a wood burning stove and some natural path surfaces. The process of cleaning is a little more complicated than other system reviews; it’s hard for me to describe it. Mountain Man Fireplace and Chimney did what they committed to do; within, the time frame that they committed. The workers; the two gentlemen, who came here were very cordial and worked quickly and cleanly. The estimate they gave us was very close to the actual cost that turned out to be. They were very competitive with their prices.

Oustanding! Sherilyn was very customer service oriented was able to meet our timing, budget, and scope of work. We bought a house in Morrison and the fireplaces needed TLC. This company made all three look brand new! I couldn't believe the results. They were very courteous and completed the work on time as promised. They also provided a list of suggested improvements/safety hazards that we might want to consider doing.

During the inspection Jake noticed a gap in the back of the firebox where two panels didn't meet and also that the cement crown was beginning to crumble. He recommended that both problems be fixed and what it would take. I hired this company based on their Better Business Bureau report and because they are a members of the National Chimney Sweep Guild.

Definitely would hire again.

Mountain Man has been our chimney sweep for years. He has also been recommending repairs for years and has let us know the status of the damaged areas in an honest straightforward way. When we finally had the means to authorize the repairs we were very satisfied with the work. A very professional quality service overall. Semper Fi.
