He had a check list and took photos and then embed them into the report. He was tasked to inspect the main water line coming into the home and the water meter. He said everything was fine and I believed him. Once we moved in the home, the water meter was very exposed and it was obvious there was a very slow leak. It was staining the floor. I later looked at the picture and noticed it was a close up of the water meter but due to the angle of the picture, you could not fully see it. It appears he did not fully inspect the water meter. We called the professionals to come out and give their opinion. They said the water meter needs replaced and it would be $800 to replace it.  If I would have known that prior to the closing, I would have included that in the negotiation. I called Harry because he said if there were any problems to call him. I explained the situation and he said it was impossible. I then asked for him to return with his plumber. He said he would talk to the plumber but he has yet to call me back. I have even tried to follow up with him.  I looked at his contract and it states that his is only liable for items up to the value of the inspection. It also explained that I would have to file a lawsuit.  I think he choice to hid behind his contract and not honor his word. The inspection failed us and we would not recommend any one use his services.
