i called for qoute for a estimate on tapping into main septic sewer line to add a laundry room drain. tech shower up and said to access drain to tap I had to remove my entire custom tile floor cut 4 x 4 foot area out of floor removed cented and dig up and access entire area exposing pipe so he could tap into main line to add new 2 inch line for laundry room. I did all grut work to save money, i was told to take pictures and send to him so he could bring all parts needed. he showed up day of work and told me nothing he quoted can be done becaused of location of pipes. he dicided to tap into totally different line then previously discussed. i said great its 80 percent less work and far cheaper in parts. he cut one 2" cast iron line out a Y into line and ran one 3 ft piece of pipe. took 45 mins to do while I went to home depot to get parts he didnt have on his truck. He waitied in his truck for 45 mins tell I got back. gave me a bill for $680 that was $300 less then previous estimate. i asked for complete breakdown of bill part labor ect. he told me that what the company charges. I asked how do they get to that number? He stated its in pricing book givin by company to him, I ask to see he refused to show me the book and said feel free to call company and the will break it down. I got bill just said installed laundry room tap thats it. No location of where what size line parts breakdown or labor cost just $680.00 for tapping line for laundry room. I called Day Plumbing 4 times in a week and a half and explained why I was calling. I was told each time no manager was available to speak wit me and was promised a prompt call which never came. I gave Day Plumbing every chance to explain themselves and they were missing in action. I personally new Bill the previous owner and founder of Day Plumbing and he would have never treated a customer like this. As a note Colorado fair labor Law states that a detailed estimate is to be given before work performed including parts labor cost as well as a detailed estimate of work to be performed or any work or services will be refunded if this step is not done. I have to say this experience was not positive for me and I am sorry I didnt call a more professional company. So much for supporting our local business.

He knows his stuff and gets your system working safely and properly! Their prices and rates are fair and they are LOCAL! I highly recommend Day Plumbing and Heating!

I asked Day Plumbing to provide a bid to replace the boiler and related equipment. Because of the mistake they had made, I asked them to bid the job so as to make normal profit on all the labor, but to provide the materials to me at their cost. Mike of Day Plumbing came out, inspected the system, and told me he thought my proposal was more than fair. Three weeks later and four unanswered telephone calls later, they finally bid the job at full price and full profit -- an amount no different than what I had been quoted by a different plumbing heating company. I feel that having made a very bad error that caused me to have to replace my heating system far earlier than I should have, Day Plumbing would make some attempt to stand behind its work. They made no such attempt.

The system had been oxidizing minerals from our well water and causing rust throughout, including in the boiler. The outcome is that the house is warm and comfortable, the boiler runs rarely, a 20-year-old heat mystery has been solved for a large section of the house and we look forward to FAR lower fuel bills. All good. And these are the nicest people you can imagine in the first place! My highest recommendation!

He even tried to help me fix it over the phone with me at home.  They are friendly, professional, etc.  The service tech, Matt, was very helpful and answered any questions I had.  He was very quick and worked very efficiently.

Overall the job was completed and furnace again worked.  But, the work was very slow.  Comments about it might be necessary to replace the entire furnace were not appreciated.  The electrical measurement on the old thermocouple was not normal but we had to discuss what to do about the problem (just replace it!!!).  At the hardware store a thermocouple costs $15.  I think I could have done the job myself.  It is not clear why it took 90 minutes and cost $250.  This should have been in the category of the lowest price service.  Other plumbers charge by the job they are doing not the time it takes so I guess I learned a lesson.

They replaced the connection. They're pretty good, we've used them for a number of years.  They are certainly reasonable.  We'v recommended them to others

What made this experience exceptional was the response time and professionalism.  We called at about 10am on Monday morning and was told to expect someone between 1:15-1:45pm that same day!  The was no......"we will be by sometime in the afternoon" like you usually get with most home services.  AND the technician was there at 1:30pm!  Although in his 20's, he was very professional and knew his trade.  He replaced and removed the old heater and left the basement with no additional mess.  The owner called both that afternoon and the next morning to ensure that everything was working properly.  I would definitely recommend Day Plumbing and use them again.

I trust them. I had used them 14 o 15 years ago and kept using them. They are a small company, but a very good company. They are trustworthy company.

They had a good coupon in the Yellow Pages. He gave me a quick, rough estimate on another job before he left, even though he didn't make money on that. It was a very pleasant, professional interaction.

Day does good work. They answered phone promptly - said they could probably have someone there that afternoon. Called back in 2 hours and said someone would be by in a few minutes. Someone was, and after trying to repair the faucet, told me it would have to be replaced. He gave me a couple of options. The location is almost inaccessible, so I told him I didn't need it - just seal off the pipe where he removed the broken faucet. He said that was a great option he hadn't thought of. The whole call took an hour. He made sure to remind me about my money-saving coupon. Gave me a quick, rough estimate for another small job I am considering. Nice work.

Day Plumbing (David) came out the next morning (in the snow!). Day Plumbing called and said they would be ~ 15 minutes late because of the snow. David showed up and immediately tried to diagnose the source of the leak. Once it was determined to be the shower, we were presented with two options - cap the shower pipes (so we would have no water to that shower) or to remove some shower tiles and fix the pipe. After discussing the options, ramifications, and costs, we decided to cap the shower pipes for the near future. The bathroom is old and needs remodeling anyway. David was efficient with his time and was very helpful and knowledgeable with helping us decide how to proceed. He was also friendly and didn't mind me asking questions on unrelated plumbing projects. I would highly recommend this company and will use them for future plumbing needs.

The plumbers from Day came in and brought the right equipment. They diagnosed my problem quickly. They didn't try to sell me anything. They gave me straightforward service. They told me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and how long it would take. The did what they promised from start to finish.

They were very honest and they were quick with the work. They didn't try add any other work. They fixed the problems and made it very simple, they were just in and out. Two workers showed up, and they didn't have a part for one of the leaks, and they only sent one back to get the part while the other stayed and worked on the other things. It only took them about fifteen minutes to get that part.

It was a smooth, effective and efficient production and he left the work area clean...

I called them on Monday morning and they were able to fit me in on that day, which was very nice of them. The price of the job was very reasonable. The plumber did a great job of finding the problem.
