Restoration Haus, LLC

After receiving bids from 4-5 different basement finishing companies, we decided to go with Matt at Restoration Haus. He was very professional and listened to what we wanted out of our basement and after about one week, he came back to go over his design layout. We liked that he did not "add in" what he thought we should have in our basement. The start date for the project was April 15th and the estimated end date was June 16th. Our basement was CLEAN through out the entire process, which we really appreciated. It was nice to be able to go down and see the progress and take pictures through each stage of the renovation. Matt was here every day during our project and we liked not having a string of people coming in and out of the house that we did not recognize. He works with an experienced plumber, electrician, drywaller, and HVAC specialist which made everything stress free for us. He did a great job on the tile in the bathroom and the bar and he used a carpet company that was one-third less than other estimates we had rec'd on our own. He did a great job of budgeting money for the "extras" in his original bid, so when it was all said and done, we actually came in under budget, which is always a nice surprise at the end of a project like this. The end result is a large, open concept basement with a media room and game room. We also have a weight room, a half bath, and storage room. Matt created an electronics closet underneath the stairs so that all of the tv, etc wires are run behind the wall and there are no cords, gaming consoles, receivers in the media room... which means no clutter! To top it off, everything was finished a week early! We would highly recommend Restoration Haus and if we ever decide to redo a bathroom or kitchen, we will call them again!
