Our experience with Raimo Construction has been excellent. Of the three bids we received, Raimo's was the middle. The price was fair, and the quality of the work and Raimo's professionalism has been worth every penny.
We were looking for a General Contractor that we trusted to make many of the detailed decisions after getting to know us. Bill Raimo filled this role well. He took the time to understand our goals for the project and our level of interest in the day-to-day decision-making during construction. For the items we needed to specify, Bill made us aware early so we had plenty of time to consider our options and get back to him without feeling rushed. His effectively managed us as his customer in a friendly and collaborative manner.
We lived in the house during the remodel, which took about three months. The subcontractors hired by Raimo Construction did a great job of respecting our living space. We appreciated that off-hour and weekend work was cleared through us in advance.
We experienced multiple late-night rain and wind storms during the construction. Bill was proactive about visiting the job site even off-hours to check on the effects of the weather and to take action when needed to avoid any damage.
In these first five months after the completion of the project, punch-list items have come up. All punch-list items have been minor - e.g. some tile grout work and some tweaks to our hot water system. Raimo Construction has been very responsive in following up and making sure the items get addressed in a timely manner. No major issues have turned up
