Hi folks! I closed my company in June of 2014 when I moved from Louisville Kentucky to the Denver Colorado metro area. I'm grateful for the patronage of my clients over the years, and wish everyone well in their future endeavors! This is the second (maybe third) time I've used Mike Bailey. I did a review of him here two years ago and am back with the same glowing account of what it's like to work with him. 
The last time I called Mike he was still living in the Louisville area, but was planning a move to Colorado.  This certainly wasn't an issue as he is able to remote in to a PC no matter the miles and solve most issues that way - coolest thing ever just to sit back and watch the magic happen ! 
We set up a time convenient to both of us and with my list of questions and concerns handy, I called him at the appointed time. He then 'remoted' into my PC and inside of an hour was able to resolve and/or answer every single question on my long list, check all my settings, update where needed, run a malware scan and in only the way he can - explain everything he was doing along the way. 
Besides being able to remote in, one of the best thing about Mike is his ability to 'meet you where you are' as to your computer knowledge and experience.  He has never made me feel like a moron for not understanding what he is doing or saying, but instead, patiently and openly explains as he goes.  Another plus is that he doesn't make changes to your PC just because it's more 'high tech' and the way he'd like to see it.  I like my simple way of seeing things on my PC, he respects that and even remembered how I like things from our last appointment. 
Having said that, two years ago he did insist I have a better means of backing up than the external hard drive I was using off and on.. He highly recommend and installed Carbonite and I have been forever grateful.  Just months after installing it, the hard drive crashed on my nearly new PC and had I not had Carbonite, all would have been lost.  Btw, they have the  best customer service ever and restored everything back the way it had been with one phone call.  Really nice folks. 
I may have said this in my other review, but there really aren't enough words to describe the pleasure of doing business with Mike Bailey !  He's the only PC guy I'd EVER call.

I am not a tech person so Mike interacted a lot with my daughter - the tech lingo is beyond me.  The two of them got everything disassembled and packed up so that we could get the unusable things out of the house.  Got me switched over to my Mac and that was the end of that service call.
Mike is very helpful and professional.
Just had my HP printer (over 10 years old) die...I contacted Mike not knowing that he had moved out to Colorado since we had used his services.  He responded within a couple of hours to let me know he had moved...somehow, he remembered everything re: our service several years ago...I was surprised that he remembered us.  At any rate, he was able to give me a name of the person who he is referring back here in Louisville...we are having problems getting the new Epson printer hooked up.
Definitely a two thumbs up  for Mike.  Thanks Mike for your patience and help throw this "tech land".

I had a four page list of questions and concerns regarding my new PC.  Mike showed such patience and willingness to help and even explained what he was doing as he went along. If you own a PC, Mike Bailey is the ONLY person you need to call.  I have his card on my desk and his number in my phone.  He is very good about answering or returning calls and, in my case, he even walked me through some steps over the phone to resolve an issue I was having while waiting for our appointment date.  I am so happy to finally find someone for all my PC needs !

Outstanding service and professionalism.  Mike's technical ability is superb, and his client communication skills are stellar.  He quickly, smoothly and efficiently switched me from my antique desktop to a new one.  He had tremendous patience with an old, computer illiterate guy like me, and spoke English, not computer-ese.  I am sure you will not be sorry you consulted him.  Just give him as much lead time as possible.  He stays very busy, but you will be glad you waited for him!

Mike came over to check out what was wrong with my computer.  He determined that my motherboard was broken and I needed to get a new one.  Mike gave me several options of what I could do and referred me to companies/website to look for a new motherboard.  I found one, had it shipped, and within a day Mike had my computer up and running again.

"We determined that the existing email host was blacklisting the TWC WAN IP address due to an intolerance for multithreaded browsers. The host would then have to manually remove the IP from the blacklist. This was a hassle for Larry and for the email hosting provider. By moving from the existing email host to Google Apps, the issue was resolved for good."

Great Service!  Mike was very helpful on the phone, understanding what  needed to be checked out on my
computer.  We set up an appointment, and he called when he was on his way. 
Mike was very knowledgeable and very professional.  He was able to fix all of my computer problems,
and updated everything.  I feel like I have a new computer!! 
I will recommend him to any family members or friends that need help with their computers.

He was marvelous!  I am 74 years old so I have some technological deficiencies ... and he was able to get me to understand just what he was doing.  He was punctual, friendly, efficient and patient ... and he worked me into his busy schedule quickly so I could deal with a virus infected system.  He explained why he was doing each step and what it was for.  His ability to reach out to my lower level of understanding without at all being condescending or impatient was greatly appreciated.

FABULOUS!!!!! Mike was awesome! I would highly recommend him. He called and stayed in contact of his arrival. Fixed two computers and made them virus free. Setup accounts for the kids seperate from mine. Got rid of files that were no longer needed. I AM A HAPPY PERSON :)

Mike did an outstanding job; very impressive.  It's obvious he knows computers in depth. He explained what was happening.  As it turned out, my hard drive is deteriorating badly.  Mike explained  Microsoft will stop support Windows XP next spring.  Thus it would be more  cost effective to buy a new computer now than buy a new hard drive and have him reload all the software and then buy a new computer next year.  Then, too, the hard drive may go out soon rather than later.  Although he does not sell computers, he took the time to suggest what I should buy and the configurations based on my specific needs.    Later in the day I called him to ask several questions I forgot to ask when he was in my home.  He called back immediately and again provided, clear explanations.  Mike has a most professional mien and he wants to provide exceptional service to his customers.  He instills confidence.and trust.

Mike is the very best computer support man there is.  I am completely non-tech and needed to get my home and business updated with the correct routers to handle the growing needs of both areas.  Additionally, I needed to make some essential changes to my business software so I could perform business and "at home" duties.  It is so hard to get someone to do "house calls", but Mike went above and beyond the call of duty.  He made sure he viewed the issues himself at the 2 separate locations, then went out and purchased the necessary items needed to update the systems.  He installed, tested and then remotely monitored the systems so if we have an issue, all we have to do is call him and he can fix anything remotely.  I can't tell you the pressure he lifted off of my shoulders.  I don't have to keep up with the latest and greatest tech updates for my computer or other needs.  If that wasn't the best part, then this is: Mike can completely explain the situation in your language! I am amazed at his ability to speak to users at all levels and get them all on the same page, especially in this ever changing area.  Plus, did you notice the total cost? That included the hardware needed to update both my business and home, house calls and remote assistance.  If you need any software or hardware assistance, then look no further, go with Mike Bailey, he will solve your issues, provide you outstanding service all at a completely reasonable cost. You couldn't expect more.

I can't say enough good things about Mike!  I am self-employed and use my computer in my job.  While working on a job late Friday evening a "warning" popped up on AVG that I had a Trojan Horse virus and instructing me to click to "fix it".  Well, I clicked it and it totally deleted the program I was trying to get into (which I needed for my work.)  Then other "warnings" started coming up and I didn't click anything else because I didn't want to delete anymore programs.  I contacted Mike on Monday and he responded the soonest he could get to me was Tuesday.  I told him that was fine.  He came out, was here for two hours, and totally got rid of the problem, uninstalled AVG (my computer is actually too old to work well with it) and installed another protection.  After trying to re-download the program I had lost and having problems, he simply called the company, determined what the problem was and got it downloaded.  Then, as if he hadn't done enough already, when it came time to pay him, he said he would send me an invoice at the end of the month.  That way, if I had any other problem between now and then, he could put it all on the same invoice!  Unheard of in this day and time!!!

My computer power supply went out and I couldn't turn on my computer.  I called Mike and he came over the next day.  I needed a special order power supply, but Mike hooked up a regular one to my computer as a loaner - so I was up and running that day.  He helped me order the correct part online through Amazon.  He came back to install when I received the part.  Unfortunately my new power supply was defective (not Mike's fault) so I had to return it and order another.  When my second one came in, Mike came back over to take  out the old one and put in the new one. I was able to return the original part since it was within the 30 day warranty.  Mike was easy to work with when setting up times for him to come to my house.  All in all, it was a three trip job.  Was available and on time each time.

At first contact, Mike emailed me back and after an exchange recommended a few things for me to try. He wanted to see if he could help without coming to my home or charging me. When that wasn't successful, he scheduled me immediately. He showed up on time. He was professional and very nice--someone you could trust coming to your home. He tried whatever possible to save me time and money. Ultimately he could save one of the two laptops but was able to save the data from each, which was a big relief. He also showed me what to do so that he didn't have to charge me to sit around and watch my computers download data.
Overall, I am not a techie. I don't understand much about how computers work. I needed someone who could be trusted, was knowledgeable and who wouldn't over charge me. Mike met all of those criteria and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and would use him again without hesitation. I had thought about going to Office Depot or Best Buy but I am very glad I found Mike on Angie's List instead.

We hired Mike Bailey for some computer work we needed done.  He did some updates and a few installations.  He is excellent however not very cheap but he is very good at what he does.  He did exactly what we ask of him and what we wanted.  We have used him 3 times and never been disappointed or had any complaints.

This is the second time we have used Mike Bailey's services, and again, are very pleased with his work.  He's a professional who is capable of dealing with computer dummies.  Mike was able to save us one on-site visit by "remoting in to our computer, and made a followup phone call to make sure things were working.
