In a nutshell, simply horrible! They have been to our house three times in the past week mowings on July 3rd 10th, plus a visit on the 7th, supposedly to fix the problems that were evident after the first visit! Here are descriptions to go along with each photo.
Still not mowed! This is simply incredible. We explained multiple times that our property line extends straight across from the far edge of the rocks, i.e. that all the rocks in this rectangular area are on our property. 1st time out the left about a square yard un-mowed in the corner marked, they didn't touch it on the 2nd visit, and left this tuft on the 3rd and final visit.
Grass Trimmings vs. Mulch We have two flower/tree beds in the front yard, both of which were re-landscaped about 6-8 weeks ago, including new mulch. As you can see in this photo, not only did they do a horrible job with the line trimmer (very uneven edges with cuts into the turf), the grass clippings are now all over the mulch and the mulch is now being spread across the grass.
Edging Failures. On the first trip, they only edged about half of the yard. They did more on the 7th, but even after the 10th, there are at least 10 corners and gaps that have yet to be edged.
Terrible Cleanup. I don't have a picture of this, but on the 3rd and amp; 7th, they left a lot of debris and clippings all over the front yard. When they came on the 7th and (sort of) re-edged the yard, they left huge clumps of grass, mud, and clay all over the lawn. My wife spoke to Betty-Jo after the first visit, which led to the follow-up visit on the 7th. She left a voicemail with them on the evening of the 7th, which was never returned. After seeing the aftermath of the 3rd visit, I called her on the morning of the 11th. After explaining the problems point by point, she said that and quot;all [she] could do was apologize.and quot; She didn't offer to make it right, which I thought was telling.
We will not do business with Lawn Care Plus again, nor can we recommend that anyone else do so.

Their pricing was good. They were responsive to my enquiries. They tried to come right away but we had snow here and we had to reschedule couple of times. They were quick to respond to my initial request and rescheduled when I needed it. They were timely in getting out here to get the work done.

I called Lawn Care Plus on Friday, May 10, and they worked me into their rotation by Tuesday, May 14, despite being extremely busy due to the Springtime rush. They performed aeration and fertilization, explained their yearly lawn maintenance program and answered all my questions in a friendly, professional manner. I also had them blow out our irrigation system last Fall and received the same excellent, friendly service.
This is a family owned and operated company, and they perform their services as though they're working on their own yards. I highly recommend them.

Called and requested aeration and fertilization before I had sprinklers turned off. The lady who answered my phone call was very helpful and asked me to water the lawn I think it was two days before they came to do the work as well as reminded my to mark the appropriate sprinklers. Lawn care plus responded within a week. The man who came to accomplish the work was on time, very courteous, did a great job, and I will hire again in the spring most likely to repeat the aeration, fertilization and other yard work.

It was simple. I called Lawn Care Plus on Monday to blow out my sprinkler system. An appointment was made for Thursday so I could be home to allow access to the inside water main that shut off the sprinklers. Tera arrived just before 4 p.m., within the window suggested for the appointment. She was very friendly, polite, and efficient.
The process, Tera reviewed my sprinkler system. She shut-off the main sprinkler line inside the house. Then returned to hook up the air compressor to one of the external valves. As the system was blowing water out of the sprinkler heads, she walked the property to see how effective the blow-out was going. Once the water was cleared, she opened the necessary valves to allow additional water drain. The system was now winterized.
Overall, it took Tara about 20 minutes to blow out the irrigation system. I have confidence that a majority of the water has been cleared for the winter. I'll plan on contacting Lawn Care Plus to restart my system next spring.
