Job was not completed due to us having to halt work. Eric (the owner) was unable to understand what was requested (a tiered garden in a sloped yard). The job was originally bid at $1200 for a tiered garden, yet he was only able place some brick retainers along the slope of the garden. We were able to knock these over by barely bumping them. He tried to fix the retainers by placing a stake to hold them in place. The work done would have lasted 1 season at best through the snow and the lawnmower bumping against them. We asked Eric and his partner to remove the brick retaining work that had been completed, and we would have another vendor come and do the work. Eric tried to charge us $1,000 at that point for the "labor" that had been done. We ended up paying $800 which was a ripoff for what had been completed, but was better that having to deal with this one in court. In addition this vendor seems to work only on Sunday's even though he claims that this is a full-time business. Beware!! I would not use again nor suggest anyone else to go through what we did.
