"We have, literally, thousands of satisfied clients. Your review is not an accurate representation of the work performed at your property. We are sorry you had difficulties with your general contractor, many of your subcontractors, and that you ran out of money. However, we provided service over and above our contract requirements. Your review appears to be an orchestrated smear campaign by you, which fails to mention your actions and the work of other individuals associated with this job. We ask you to cease and desist your libelous, defamatory, and inaccurate portrayal of our work. Thank You."
During a week of very high late summer temperatures, the painting team carried on without complaint and remained friendly during the entire process.
We miscommunicated about the details of one color on the house, so extra time was needed and cost incurred to do what we wanted. I don't blame the painter, but I now realize how important it is to be very specific about where you want each color to appear. Write it out clearly and have both parties sign the description, and use a photo of the house to specify exactly where each color goes. Also, ask for a quote of any additional charges needed above the original quote.
Best tip on choosing exterior house colors - narrow down your choices to a couple, then purchase the sample size in those colors and paint them on an inconspicuous part of the house. Do this with deck stain as well. Take a good amount of time to choose colors carefully as it is a huge decision, and mistakes are expensive.
knew my room would be more expensive than that because I had drywall
shelves in a couple of insets in the room and they are a lot of work.
Tim came out ahead of time to give me the price for the room I wanted
done as well as the adjoining kitchen. In the end, I felt the price was
reasonable and I went ahead with the plan. Tim and his assistant were
very punctual and hard-working. The paint job is lovely and I'm more
than satisfied with the quality of their work. I wish I could have
afforded to have the whole house done. Tim was not thrilled with the
brand of paint I chose, but since I had to buy the paint, I had gotten a
paint that reviewed very well on line and was quite reasonable. In the
end, it was a beautiful paint job and I think it would have required 2
coats of paint no matter what brand of paint I had chosen. They did an excellent job and cleaned up completely when they were done. I was completely satisfied with the job.
"Thank you for your kind words. It is our pleasure to work with you!"
