XCite was hired as a subcontractor to the general contractor that finished my basement. From the very first meeting, their owner Andrew has been argumentative and difficult to deal with. At this point, all the work is done except the final connections between the wiring they installed and the whole house system that I already had in place. From the beginning, they argued that making those connections was our job and they wouldn't do it, so I had to have the general contractor lean on them to get them to agree to do it. (What good is wiring that isn't connected to anything?) At this point, the wiring has been in for weeks and I have people living in the space with no phone, internet or TV. We are continuing to apply pressure to get it done, but at this point, I think his intent is to make this so painful that I either do it myself or hire someone else. I don't know how they are with direct customers (when they are not a sub) but I would definitely never hire this company again.
