Their good. They seem to know what they are doing. Whenever I have questions, they are very responsive. I would recommend them. It's free now because it's part of the house now. They are going to be putting in a humidifier in August.

They are fabulous. They are wonderful to deal with. They come out twice a year. They come out once to service the air conditioning, and once to do the heater. We have an annual fee for them to come out and do our service. 

They are terrific. They were identification badges. They call me when they are leaving headquarters to tell me approximately when they will be here. It is just wonderful.

My furnace was not producing heat this morning, and I called Steel T on the recommendation of a friend. They came promptly and made the repair. The service man was very courteous and professional. I thanked the friend for the good steer. End of story! (Yes, I recommend them!)

We have had issues with a leak in our AC for some time. We called Steel T on Monday and they were able to accommodate our schedule preference of Thursday afternoon. We received a reminder call in the morning as well as a call from the technician when he was in route. The technician, Bill, immediately diagnosed the problem and cited our poor maintenance of the unit (oops!). Within the hour, the problem was repaired, filters were replaced, the thermostat was replaced, and a final check was performed to ensure that the furnace was in proper working order. Additionally he educated me on how to properly maintain the system and advised me of the potential issues that could arise if we continued to ignore basic maintenance requirements. When all was said and done, Bill informed me that all charges were waived in observance of September 11th. Apparently the owner announced this morning that all work performed was on the house. I was absolutely stunned by such a gesture, especially made by a corporation who stands to lose quite a bit of revenue. The impeccable service, professionalism and character demonstrated by Steel T has earned all of my future business. Highly recommended!

It seems to me that they guarantee the work, and it has worked fine. They seemed competent and knew what they were doing. I haven't had any problems with it. I have no complaints so far.

Everything went very well. We have had Steel-T since we moved into our house. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality service.

When I called to close the deal, he reneged on connecting the return, but still wanted to sell me the system.

He was on time, he was professional, when he came downstairs to look at the furnace, he knew exactly what was going on, he didn't try and tell me a bunch of stuff, he showed up, did the job and was professional about it.

They are exceptional and they are reputable. They are very responsive in an emergency call and they help you to troubleshoot. They took the time to work with me on that. The quality of the work was great.

years same as cash financing as well, which not everyone offered. Very

Our original construction upstairs air conditioning unit had never performed very well and had become practically useless during the hottest part of this past summer.  When I climbed up into the attic to check it I found water pooling around the base of the unit. We had Steel-T come and inspect it and they determined that the coil was corroded.  Since the unit had never worked well, I asked for an estimate to replace it, rather than repair.  I was impressed by the no-nonsense manner in which the Steel-T prepared the estimate and, based on my research about such units, thought the Steel-T price for a replacement Carrier unit that would fit the constrained space in our attic was fair.  There was some delay in getting the work done, but I understand that, given the extreme heat of the summer and the fact that our existing unit wasn't entirely broken, there were other Steel-T customers who had more urgent needs.  When they finally installed the new unit at the beginning of August, the crew were very professional and scrupulous about leaving our house clean.  The new unit is very nice and efficient and, most importantly, has proven equal to the task of keeping the upper part of the house cool.

I decided it was time to replace a 20 year old furnace and add an AC unit.  After researching various local companies, I contacted Steel-T via email through their website.  Chris contacted me the following morning and that evening he was at the house for the estimate.  Chris was friendly, thorough, and responsive to my questions (and all of my follow up emails too!).   Chris emailed the quote the next day and was able to schedule the install about a week later.   When the crew showed up for the install, they were right on time.  Crew was friendly, professional, and able to answer all of my questions.  They also provided a thorough walk through after the install was complete.   Overall, my experience with Steel-T was very satisfactory.  Price was fair, install was completed on schedule, and all of my questions were answered promptly.  I will be looking to Steel-T for any future HVAC needs.

Great.  The service professional was knowledgable, professional, courteous and answered alll my questions, as well as make suggestions.

From the beginning, the install went well.  Steel-T planned a complex upgrade to our heating & cooling system including reconfiguring our existing ductwork to accommodate the zoning addition, improving airflow efficiency, and resealing all joints before the upgrade.
 The installation crew was very professional, timely, and did an excellent job with the install.
We called for service to tweak the furnace after install.   The service dept was very knowledgeble and responsive in getting our system adjusted.

The technician seemed clueless. He looked at the system and advised that the coolant was low and that the system probably had a slow leak, he recommended topping off the refrigerant and adding "stop leak" for an extra $140. I mentioned that the system had been recently recharged and that I doubted the leak diagnosis. he went back out to look at the unit, came back, and agreed that the refrigerant level was fine and that it appeared to be a stuck txv valve. He gave us an estimate of $839.95 to repair, even though the txv valve was under warranty. The estimate was not itemized, when asked to itemize the estimate, he told us to call the office. We paid the tech with a credit card who returned the card to us telling us it was declined, which it had been because he ran it for $17,195.00  instead of $171.95 resulting in a number of concerned calls from our credit card company.

I called the office to have the estimate explained, the customer service person was unable to help and said a technician would get back to us, none did. This would have resulted in a total charge of  $1011.90 ($839.95 repair + 171.95 estimate) we sought a different repair company.

We called another authorized Carrier servicer who honored the warranty and charged us $389.00 total for the repair.
