arrived on time bit early I wasn't ready and then off the work started and kept it going at a good clip until finished  all straight and looks wonderful, no complaints we used them to help a woman from our church mother who lives in Denver get the cutters she needed badly.   we would use them again

They were hired through my insurance company to do my roof but they were terrible. They did the work about four years ago and I had a problem that they were supposed to come out and fix. The guy that came out was very rude and the way that he talked to use was very disrespectful. They did do the work but only because I was working through a third party to get it done. They also ended up paying for the damage in my garage that they tried not to pay for as well.

Ken Shield is an owner/operator independent gutter installation and repair contractor.  I sought out Ken on the recommendation of a house painter that I have worked with for several years. I have checked the work personally and found it to be solid and complete. Ken was prompt with my quote, but not quite as well coordinated with my house painter as I had hoped.  My painter had to return to paint the gutters as they were installed after the paint job had started.  This problem was relatively small.  I would highly recommend Ken Shield for gutter work jobs large and small.

We were in the process of moving when the storms took place. Shield Construction took this into account and made sure everything was completed before our house sale was closed, including working directly with the insurance company. The best part, other parts of our house needed repairs and they helped us with fence, windows, and painting as well. We would use them again since they are also based in Omaha and Lincoln NE.

Shield Construction performs excellent work. Shield won the bid for replacement of an old asbestos roof of a historic chapel in 2007. There was tremendous attention to detail, including compliance with strict state grant requirements. Also in 2007, Shield restored the interior of the chapel. Total work to the Chapel was approximately $90,000.  In 2007 Shield also restored a 11,000 sq ft  residence that was badly damaged by a roof leak. Additional attention to detail was evident in the restoration of the custom home.  We continue to use Shield for all restoration and construction work.

Nationwide Roofing did an excellent job and coordinated well with our insurance company. Rick worked with us in deciding whether to use the concrete tiles we had or replace them with composition shingles. He was informative, understanding, courteous, and extremely patient. He never lost his cool thru cancelled appointments and delayed start dates caused by illness, first by one and then by the other of us. When the roofers were finally able to start work, they completed the job in less than two days. The workmen were all polite, friendly and quick. After the work was done, they cleaned away the debris and went so far as to use a roller magnet to pick up nails and metal scraps from the driveway and grass. The siding and trim were matched exactly. We were so pleased with their performance; we hope to utilize their services in repairing the interior damage to our home that was also caused by ?our old friend Ike?.
