Description of Work: I was mortified when the afternoon sunlight revealed that the curved acrylic windows in my sunroom have been deeply gouged and scratched as a result of the roofing project undertaken by this company and our HOA. Although the roofers laid tarps all around to catch debris, it evidently never occurred to them that that same debris would be damaging to the acrylic atrium windows that are found on the majority of our homes. It frustrates me when undertakings such as this occur with a blatant lack of common sense. This overall project is being done in our 110 unit townhome community to the tune of nearly $2 million dollars, with each resident paying nearly $2000 towards our "roof damage" deductible, This contract will represent quite a payday for the roofing company, but we, and many of my neighbors, hardly consider it a bargain. Cable wires are dangling all over the place, and after a week of work, portions of our roof remain unshingled. We are certainly hoping that replacing these damaged windows does not become an additional expense for us; not only had we had the atrium structure repaired and new windows installed,less than a year ago, we recently paid to replace external panes due to damage from the recent severe hail storms. Getting a new roof should not wreak this sort of havoc on residents.
