They cleaned it up and repaired it.  He took the time to show me how and what to wind, how the clock functioned, etc.  What a relief to find some one you can trust.

The original contact on the phone was helpful and professional. When I dropped off the clock I was given the card for the Dale Gallegos, who would be doing the actual repair. Within a couple of days(as i was told it would be) I was given an estimate and time frame for the repairs and delivery that I needed.  Everything went according to plan. I was called when something needed to be done that wasn't on the original estimate, told the cost and I ok'd it. There were NO surprises. After the work was completed, I went to the shop to pay and got to see the repaired clock. They were very accomodating when my plans changed and I didn't have a place to put the clock for several months. When I finally called to let them know I had a place for it to be delivered, within the week they scheduled me. The clock was delivered on time and assembled. It looked absolutely beautiful and sounded beautiful. Dale gave me instructions for future care of the clock both verbal and printed. It was a very good, professioinal experience all the way through. I would recommend Rocky Mtn. Clock Shop and Dale Gallegos for any clock repair needs.

All went well. The clock was in need of adjustment and lube. I was informed that the clock is wearing (it is >20 years old) and would be in need of a rebui;d when it no longer continues to run or chime.

It did take longer to get the clock repaired than we were told, but the wait was worth it!

I am glad I found a knowledgable clock repair business. He did have a long line of other work in line before being able to get to mine, but did a great job and finished the work earlier than expected. Plan on taking in an Amish school wind clock for cleaning and maintenance once his schedule frees up some.

They are very professional.  They are very good at their clock repairs.  They have quite a wide inventory of clocks, which is always fun to look through.  I have bought clocks from them.  They have modern clocks and antique clocks.
