One Man and A Dog Lawncare was established in 2000. Throughout our years in business we have provided honest and high quality services. In a competitive market the business has continued to grow as customer satisfaction is our number one priority. In a business where there is a 30% customer turnover we have consistently had less than 3% turnover. This can be attributed to our attention to detail, professional demeanor and competitive pricing. We offer both residential and commercial services. We are a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau since 2004 and fully insured. We've struggled to find a lawn service that leaves the grass long enough and remembers to leave the grass clippings for me. We thought we'd give One Man and a Dog a try as they promised their standard mow left the grass at 3" long. We used them first for lawn aeration and while they needed to reschedule,  then came as promised and did a thorough job front an dback. They have mowed once for us, cut the grass at about 3" and left the grass clippings tidily on a tarp in my back yard, So far so good. They were very polite and work quickly.

It went pretty well, I did need to keep reiterating the work I wanted done as he was drawn to some different work. Lawn maintenance is more their business, I bought the Big Deal for Landscaping work. He was on top of getting out and getting the job done and was very nice to talk with. The B on professionalism is because he did not contain his dog despite the fact that the dog clearly terrified one of my young kids. The dog was harmless, she's just got a phobia. They finished the job to my satisfaction.

We have 2 houses next door to each other with over about 25 deciduous trees and 50 bushes. Needless to say this creates tons of leaves every fall. Jon's crew showed up exactly when he told me they would arrive and completed the job within a fraction of the time that it has been done in the past. The men were meticulous in getting all the leaves blown out of cracks and corners, cleaned out the raised beds and trimmed down the ornamental grasses. We requested a last minute gutter cleaning and they were happy to add it on. The price was fair and the job done was excellent!

I called John on Tuesday 05.31.11 around 1:30 p.m. to see if I could get a quote. He was very professional and honest. His crew was only in my area on Tuesday's and he offered to have them stop by at the end of the day to mowing our lawn (which hadn?t been mowed all season). His men were on time, very nice and through! Due to his service and quality we have set up a weekly mowing program for the summer. Thank you John for accommodating us on such short notice!
