This contact went Very Badly!

They were quick and professional. They did a good job. The price, however, was about $125 higher than the high end of the phone quote.(between $250 and $350). Final price was $475. Was told it was higher because it was an entire truck load, but there was already a large hot tub in the truck. I'd hire them again, but would work harder to figure out exactly what the charges would be ahead of time.

It went great! They were fast and efficient.

So glad I had Junk Genius take away my old hot tub. Mike and the gentleman he was with (Robert?) were on time, polite and professional, and did the job within the price quote. They took away not only the hot tub, but also accompanying stairs without being asked and cleaned the area. Very happy with JunkGenius and would recommend them with hesitation. To put this in context, I had one of their competitors out earlier, who tried to bait-and-switch me by telling me the hot tub couldn't come out in one piece and had to be sawed apart. When I booked that appointment, I was told there would be no extra charge for sawing. Since they were already out, I even agreed to go about 10% higher than their quote, but after stepping away to call his manager, I was told they couldn't do it so I asked them to leave. The people who came out were nice enough, and I could tell this wasn't the first time this happened as they said their customer service was always under quoting stuff. But JunkGenius's quote was still lower, and they got the hot tub out in one piece.

It took several emails to get a response. I gave several days which would be convenient to me for pickup, but then received an abrupt response stating that they were available that afternoon or the next day. I had to rush to get the stuff out of my garage into the driveway. Pickup was prompt but then I immediately received an email stating that I owed more money despite the fact that I had purchased an Angie's list deal. I didn't think the total cost was unfair, but the whole thing is deceptive. I will never purchase a 'deal' again as they usually don't even cover the average service. They downsize the service and then downsize the price to make you think you are getting a bargain. You are not. Stay away. Bad for the customers and the businesses.

Couldn't have gone better.Called before coming and showed up when they said they would. Checked with me as to what was to be picked up. We were in the process of moving and had stuff piled all over so they rechecked with me from time to time to make sure they were getting the right items.

From start to finish the Junk Genius was a joy to work with....One call and i had a scheduled time....fifteen minutes before the appointment i get a call from Mike saying they will be there shortly. When they arrived, Mike surveyed what needed to removed and did it....quick and easy! A very good company and i will be doing business with them again.

If I could give higher rating than an A, I would. Chad and his partner have been the best junk removal service I have ever used. To get an appointment all I did is call and Chad answered his phone right than and scheduled the appointment. He called 30 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. He was very prompt, courtous and professional. The price was better than I had expected especially for the amount of stuff I had removed. Don't look any farther, use Chad.

 Mike was prompt and the process was quick and efficient.  I will be hiring them again as items accumulate.

It went as expected. They came within the scheduled appointment time and handled the job quickly.

I had not been able top get to that side of my house and did not know the board with nails were not removed.  I had priced out using my handyman,renting a truck and paying the dump fee.  Saved over $100.00.  Very prompt, very careful, Would most definitely hire again.

Two men arrived and were very respectful and professional. They removed the two pieces of furniture without damage to the house. They were in and out in about 10 mins.

We recently remodeled our bathroom area and had a lot of construction debris and material left over in our garage (tile, mirrors, vanity tops, etc.). We checked with our local dump and they said we could haul the stuff ourselves (load and unload) for a fee of about $50. We investigated options through Angie's List and came across the deal with Junk Genius (about $75 for $109 worth of hauling). Chad called the same day of our request and said he'd be available to come over within the next hour. Chad and Josh came with their truck and not only hauled away the construction stuff, but also took some other things in our garage we were wanting to get rid of (i.e. old paint cans, lumber, old lamps, etc.). Chad said that it was great that we purchased the Angie's List deal as it probably would have cost about $200 for them to haul away everything they did. Chad and Josh were efficient and professional. We also appreciate they honored the Angie's List deal for all they hauled away! We will definitely use Junk Genius again and highly recommend them!

Easy  to set up appointment; showed up on time; charged an extra twenty dollars to haul off two heavy shelves that were in my basement. They took care to not damage anything while moving the shelves.
