hired JC Mechanical to replace 2 feet of damaged dryer vent. They quoted $3,283, saying it would take 8+ hours and require disassembling a large section of my HVAC system. Instead, the tech cut a 12” hole in my bathroom ceiling (not near the HVAC), installed $15 of flexible duct, and finished in under an hour. The HVAC was untouched, and the ceiling was left open and unrepaired—yet I was still charged the full amount. They no-showed the first appointment without calling. At the rescheduled visit, they arrived hours late with no notice and didn’t answer my calls. After the job, they refused to discuss the charge. I was told the owner would call me back—he never did. Then they blocked my number. When my wife called, they answered, made the same promise, and blocked her number too. This company was deceptive and unprofessional. I do not recommend them.

Experience was excellent. JC was professional, courteous, on-time, and took the time to explain the system to us. The system was installed in late summer, but we had a cold snap in September and I expected the heater to go on automatically for the first time. When this didn't happen, I called JC and they were there within 1 hour to fix the problem which took all of 2 minutes to fix. The installer had forget to flip a certain switch during the install to make the heater come on automatically. We are very satisfied with our purchase and the service JC provides.

Jim Sr. re-lit the pilot, and then proceeded to show and explain why it had gone out and would go out again. We've know for some time that our furnace would need to be replaced at some point in the near future, and when we do get it replaced JM Mechanical LLC is who we're going to call. Jim even offered us a 10% discount if we used his services to replace the furnace. Done! Jim couldn't have been nicer and more professional. If I could, I'd rate the encounter an A+

It went very well. They were here on time. The delivered air conditioner on evening before installation. They arrived the next day and completed the work in same day. They also come twice a year to make sure everything ready for winter and in spring to make sure air conditioner is ready.

The technician was fast and friendly and super helpful. Our AC went out and they were there the next day to ***** what was wrong. Turned out we just had a faulty thermostat, but I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any other issues!

Have to give a shout out to Jim at JC Mechanical. I was desperate in an 81 degree house. I had originally called a company who came and inspected my AC unit. The service fee was fine but they wouldn’t be upfront about certain pricing and said they were comparable. The costs ended up being outrageous and we asked the guy to walk. I then called JC Mechanical and everything was perfect. He answered all my questions over the phone, was upfront about all costs as well. When he got to my house (the next day), he was honest about options and about the service he was providing. It’s noteworthy to say that before adding coolant to my unit, he showed us what the tank was measuring at prior and after filling. There was no question on what/how much was added and there was no hidden fee. The bill was exactly what we expected. Hopefully no time soon, but I will be using JC Mechanical for all my future needs, and recommend them anytime someone asks.
