My husband and I were shopping for a car and they are wonderful. They know what I want. Without being over barring or constant contact they're just perfect. Deferentially use them again.

Excellent--- He, Steve, listened to our specifications on the vehicle and looked for quite a few weeks to bring us "candidates" for our inspection. As always, the transaction was smooth, quick and to the point when we made our final decision on the vehicle.

This is the third vehicle Steve has helped us out with and we have never been disappointed.

He would go silent and we would not hear back.  When we did hear back, it was always an excuse or an odd recitation of "don't trust dealer ads, they are never real", which we weren't doing (all we did is test drive to choose cars and quoted offers to the broker that dealers wrote out for us); these responses had nothing to do with our situation at all or the car deal we were looking for.  It was just really odd.  I felt like he just wasn't doing any work and was trying to buy time or perhaps there was another issue.
After almost 4 weeks of trying to be patient and broker loyal, we gave up.  We felt like we missed out on some great year end closeout deals by this time and we were now outside the window of opportunity to order exactly what we wanted because of his non responsive delays.  We hadn't gotten any info at all.  His responses indicated that he wasn't even fully aware of what we were looking for, the time frame and that he hadn't gotten anywhere.
I did the work myself and from my computer.  I was able to procure info on the two cars we were considering.    I did get offers where the broker had not brought back any info despite having many weeks and this being his profession.  We were able to choose the best deal quickly.  I started late Saturday afternoon and had the deal done by Monday evening.  Dealers are closed in CO on Sunday, so it was pretty fast from start to finish.   I got a very good deal and had a first rate experience thanks to a great local dealer rep and his GM.
We either had an unreliable broker or perhaps brokers are not as able to get deals on higher ticket luxury vehicles like they do on other cars.  The broker should have been honest and say so or say he didn't or couldn't do the work and we could have moved on without missing out on savings.  Whatever the case, it was frustrating and a waste of time working with the broker on this car.  We ended up doing the deal ourselves and feel like we lost out on good year end closeouts because our broker did nothing while they disappeared and we had to buy a car that was in transit and will be delivered before we needed it.  If the broker had done any work to look into procuring a special order of exactly what we wanted and delivered when we needed it, we would have saved on overlapping lease payments.  Even though we did get pretty much the car we wanted, we had to settle for our second choice interior color due to losing out on the special order time window.
I might try the company again, but certainly it would be with another broker.

Still trying to sell car so it may be simply the market. To date the HM Brown representative has done exactly what they said they would.
