HAMPDEN FAMILY PET HOSPITAL

We have three cats. I've been going there five years. It may take a little bit of effort to make an appointment because of their schedule and mine because I live up in the mountains, it's not easy to get down there. They're down by Denver. But, they're care and concern for the animals couldn't be better.

During the whole time my dog saw the vet, the vet was incredibly wonderful. She would let me call her no matter what time it was, if I had questions; my dog had diabetes. The vet helped me through the situation and had a lot of compassion for what I was going through. I have another pet now and will be going back to her. I liked everything about the pet service, very compassionate, caring. They also are open for hospitalization. The vet was just marvelous with interacting with my pet. She gave me her cell phone number and I could call her any time I needed to; there were many times that we talked during the day, most vets don’t. Even though she was skiing, I called her and she returned my call.

They're punctual, they do a good job, they explain the treatment and they're good with the animals.

They are expensive but they are excellent.

I think their prices are to high, but I like their vets. I have three dogs, one has had both knees replaced, another one has a heart condition and goes to a different vet for that. The other one is healthy, so she see's whoever is available. They are exceptional vets, and do exceptional surgeries. They do the diagnostics, and bring in all of the specialist that I may need. We have been using them since 1980.

They're great in their service and absolutely understanding. My dog had a serious injury and I used them probably 6 months ago, March. I was very pleased with the price and the service of care, follow up care was outstanding too. Even the medicines are cheaper than other facilities that have taken my dog over they years. I was really impressed with the vets. The price is reasonable.I would use them again especially for urgent care.

They really care about animals. We took our Dobson dog there.

Maria and Dr Monica are the best. I was very relieved to know that my cats' doctor was also a cat person. She doesn't shame me for being a little late, but better late than never, right? Dr Monica has a mannerism that lets you know she's got it going on. Thanks you guys and gals from me and Sassy and Luke, and Oliver.

Lucy could not have received more love or better care than she did at Hampden Family Pet Hospital over the years.  The doctors, vet techs and other team members there are amazing.  Lucy saw primarily Dr. Monica Watterud and Dr. Chris Glawe, but I have also heard great things about their other doctors.  Lucy had quite a few medical issues over the years, and both Dr. Monica and Dr. Glawe did a truly amazing job of identifying what was wrong with her, explaining her options to me, advising me as to the best course of action, and then treating the problem.  They are very conscious of costs and careful to avoid expensive solutions if more reasonable ones are available.

We have seen several of the vets and vet techs and never had a problem. They are great with my animals and me. I've used them for a couple of emergencies and they have been able to squeeze me and were very compassionate and quick.

The office is clean. The doctor cares. The staff is friendly. They are punctual. They were a little more expensive than other places. They do not offer boarding.

The staff members there are congenial. They are knowledgeable. Although, we usually see one or two of their veterinary staff ; they are all consistent and concise. They take complete care and are absolutely wonderful with the dog.

They have a variety of vets there and they are all excellent. I trust them with my dogs and won't take them anywhere else. They are excellent. They love my dogs and are very kind. My vet is really good with my dogs and is great.  We had to have one of our dogs put down and they came to our house and put him to sleep. They took their time and were very gentle and compassionate. They are always on time and if you have an emergency they will work hard to get you in. I can't say a bad word about anyone there. We have been going there for twenty years.

Once upon a time, a little grey kitty got knocked up before she was even one year old. Looking for some kind human to take her in and protect her from the cruel world she wandered through the bitter wind to a hotel. Her piteous cries melted no hearts but led to a Craigslist posting by a curious bystander. A woman with a heart as big as all outdoors and the best petsitting business in the land read the post and planned her rescue.After the beautiful young cat was rescued and taken to the local veterinarian and her "situation" was discovered, the woman with the heart as big as all outdoors didn't know what to do because her dogs, though kind, could frighten the pregnant waif. And that is where I, your noble narrator joins the story! With a spare room and a pile of books as high as your head, we embarked on a journey through the mildly traumatic world of cat pregnancy, birthing and infancy. And everyone lived happily ever after.

I could NOT have done it without the help of Dr. Monica Watterud and the kind people at the Hampden Family Pet Hospital. I was greeted warmly upon each visit (and I was visiting almost weekly for awhile there) and absolutely adored they way they handled the cats and explained everything to me. They even take pictures of the cats to attach to their files. The building is brand new and the equipment all thoroughly modern. Their prices are extremely fair and they were very generous to me and my little cat family.Up until this experience, I have only ever taken my cats to another vet whom I also like, but where Hampden Family Pet Hospital has them beat hands down are the hours and the availability of emergency services until 10pm. Emergency services are never fun but being able to take your pet someplace close, with excellent service and care and reasonable prices can be an incomparable relief. I unreservedly recommend these vets as they care for your pets and you like you are family and don't take advantage of that when it's time to pay the bill. It's hard to imagine, but it's almost fun to have a vet visit now almost like a social visit with friends. It's not as important for me to have a good visit as my cat does, but it's certainly a bonus that I enjoy it as well.

All of the vets there are excellent. They are all very loving and kind with your animals. They have a system called pet portal where you can go online and leave messages and questions and they will respond to you. They are very good about reminding you when your pets are due for necessary visits. They also offer specials discounts certain months out of the year. They also offer acupuncture and physical therapy for animals. If need be, they will come to the home for the ending of a pets life.

We take our pet there regularly. They are fabulous and I recommend them. I have a massage therapist that also uses them for her cat. We have a dog. It has only the same things to say about them as a cat place as a dog place. They are what I expect to pay for so the price is good. The quality is phenomenal. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism are all phenomenal. With our old dog that we had who had very bad hip problems because he was 15 our Dr. Melani Poundstone, veterinarian came to the house to give our old dog acupuncture. On a scale of 1 to 10, they are a 12. I have recommended to friends and I recommend Hampden Family Pet Hospital on a regular basis to people who don't have a vet that they trust already. I would continue to use them in the future.

I have never had a bad experience there and would recommend them to anybody.
