Gutter Helmet-Greater Denver

It went great.

I called Gutter Helmet 3 times over 3 months to have service come out and look at my installation. It appears to be incorrect. I never received a call back, not once. After calling a 4th time, asking to speak with someone, and being put on a very long hold I was met by a very hostile attitude of the manager Laura. She proceeded to tell me that the installation was correct due to Colorado winds. Their own website shows a correct installation, my roof doesn't look anything like the website. Correct or not, I expect less attitude and at least the courtesy of looking at my issues in person to address my concern. I don't mind paying for a service fee, but we didn't get that far. I explained that I was having ice daming issues due to the incorrect installation. I've inspected it myself in the winter so I know exactly what is going on, but despite this the rude manager quickly pointed the finger at something else on my roof which doesn't even exist and brushed off all my concerns. I was so angry I couldn't even complete the conversation and had to hang up. Needless to say I'll be removing the gutter helmet system and going with something else because the product seems great, but I can't work with this company. I want to have a product that is stood behind.

The estimates were given and accepted.  The materials and haul away was delivered on time and the removal
and installation was done very expertly in two days.  The clean up afterward was not done very carefully as a number of nails
were found on the driveway and on the lawn both in the front and back of the house.

thje removal and reinstallation went very well.

I had to go around and pick up some things that they left behind. We also saw that they did not put on the end cap. They said they would come back and fix it but they still have not.

They were very quick and came out immediately. They fixed a problem that was not theirs to fix in the first place. They were very nice when I communicated with them. I think they are very highly rated company.

I made an appointment with Gutter Helmet and they gave me a quote of $489 plus parts and materials. to remove and reinstall the Gutter Helmet. This is at $3 per lineal foot. I was billed and had to pay up front $244.50. I called them to reinstall the Gutter Helmet and they responded right away. They did not complete the job on the first day, but said they would finish the next day. They did not. Several days later I received a call saying they would be out the next day. They came out but did not finish. Several days later I called and left a message. The call was not returned. I called the next day and he said he would be out to finish up. He did come out and presented me with a bill for $489, not $244.50. Seal Tape cost $.50 per lineal foot ?Cut down 18? panels to switch to comp. roof? ran $163.00. I was never given an estimate for the additional $244.50. I was never given a solid estimate for the complete job. Every bill was a surprise. I do not recommend them. If you have them come out, ask them for a complete estimate, und understand that it is only an estimate. Then, I recommend shopping around for a good gutter company for a competitive quote. When I called to complain I was obviously upset. No effort was made to compensate me for their poor paperwork procedures or communication.
