The initial quote process was handled very well. Quote fully documented and comprehensively covered the scope of work. Work was performed completely per the original quote with no surprises and no cost revisions. Gustafsonand acirc;€™s pricing was in line with other quotes. I picked Gustafson because I had used Gustafson before (18 years ago) for my original A/C and was very happy with them. Iand acirc;€™m pleased to find they are still in business and they still offer a quality experience. On the project date, they arrived on time. 3-man crew took all precautions to protect flooring and carpeting. They also were prepared for any logistics involved, like door removal or other preps to ease the work flow on the job site. All 3 Technicians worked efficiently and got right down to their business. Obviously all were competent, polite and professional in approach to the work and the customer. They began at 7:00 Am and the entire job was complete and up and running by 2:30. Not much to complain about in regard to how they handled the entire project. In addition to the 3 Techs, one of the most experienced techs (Jeremy) spent time at the work site to inspect and review the work in progress. Jeremy spent time with me to answer any questions, and this was helpful to me to ensure me that all needs and concerns were being addressed. All associated paperwork for furnace and A/C was placed in a nice metal document holder on the side of the duct work. Gustafson also processed all the paperwork for any Rebates involved due to the high-efficiency furnace and high-efficiency A/C that they installed. There was also good follow-up contact from Gustafson to make sure all questions and any new concerns were addressed.

Our air conditioners needed to be replaced and it was hot so we were in a bit of a hurry. After an initial call I was able to quickly schedule an appointment. Mike came out and did a great job of finding our expectations, doing a detailed measurement of the house for a load calculation. Next day I received a proposal with multiple options which Mike was able to walk me through. I had multiple estimates done for this work and found that Mike's attention to detail allowed him to best match my goals and expectations with a proposal. He pushed back on things that could be done later if the system did not already meet expectations. I really liked that he recommended that I not oversize or over spend.The install was scheduled a week later and all went really well. The crew doing the install was really professional and tried hard to answer any questions we had.We are very happy with our new systems.Jeff

**Update: I was contacted by Tom from Gustafson Heating and AC. He had looked into my complaint and said they felt like my issue should have been handled differently and taken care of with warranty. His desire was to make this right and treat us correctly. They immediately sent a repairmen out at our renters convenience in order to fix the problem as well as promised a follow up in the spring to ensure the repair had taken care of the problem. Talking and working with Tom was a pleasure. I wish I would have dealt with him from the beginning.





Called Gustafson to come check on why a/c wasn't cooling. Service technician came to our rental house and refilled a/c coolant for second time. We were never called to told what problem was or what service was performed, just received bill in the mail a week later. After calling tenants to check if work had been performed and if unit was now working, they told us the coolant needed to be filled and there was a leak in the hose that needed to be fixed another time as they didn't have part. They also said service technician was suppose to call us to see when we wanted to have work done. We never got the call. This is frustrating because we previously had them out to do EXACTLY THE SAME SERVICE minus being told we had a leak. The first time they said the a/c coolant hadn't been completely filled at the factory and it should never need to be filled again. Now 1 1/2 yrs later we had to pay $145 to refill what coolant and will have to pay that again be amuse we still have a leak!! When I called the office I was told they have a 3 mo guarantee on there work. How does that help for a Colorado summer that only needs a/c for a total of 3 months? When I said I was frustrated that I was never called and told about the service performed or that I needed to have another maintenance taken care of because it was most likely not caught the first time, I was told I was upsetting the owner. I was told there were no notes in our record saying they should call. To which I said I thought every homeowner would want to be called to told there was a problem. Who should be upset? I used them a while back and they really did a good job. Luckily, I don't have many heating and air conditioning issues. When I did use them they were very good. The prices was reasonable. They responded quickly. I also used them at the end of 2007. Luckily, my furnace does not go out too often. They were very honest. They did a good job and they were very reasonable. One other person gave a quote and I told him I needed to call around to get a number of quotes. They are straightforward and the prices are easy on the budget.

Flawless.  Professional.  Since my heater was not installed optimally that issue was rectified as well.

He came out once to do an estimate on my heating system. He was very polite, reasonable, knowledgable, and very honest. I would of used him if I was able to get the house but it fell through. I just wanted to comment on the professionalism of the business.

I heard about them from a neighbor. They were very prompt and had good prices in comparison with other companies. We were completely satisfied with the services they provided.
