They told me they should arrive in about 20 minutes and it ended up taking 2 hours. It was about 30 degrees out and I had to sit in my garage turning the car on and off to run the heat but not fill the garage with carbon monoxide. When they arrived they offered a 10% discount because it took so long but that didn't amount to much. I've had a similar experience with them another time as well.

I have used them several times in the last 15 times. I restored an old Vespa motor scooter and I had one key. After playing around for a really long time they actually managed to find a Volvo car key and grind it down so it would fit my Vespa. They go out of their way to do the work and I’m pretty happy with them.

They were excellent. Any key that I have ever needed they are able to make. Other locksmiths I have tried couldn't.

They did a good job.  They knew which key to use and which blank to use.  They made it right away with no problems.  I found the price to be very reasonable.

We have used Englewood Lock & Safe three times, and each time they have been extremely punctual, professional, friendly, and reasonably priced.  They do great work and I have always been impressed.  Most recently, we hired them to install a second deadbolt on our front door to prevent an escape by our 2 year old daughter, who can reach the lower lock.  Englewood Lock & Safe provided the matching hardware we were looking for and did an impressive job on the installation.  We hardly notice the change to our front door.  I also recommend them if you need your locks changed.

They were punctual.  They said they would be here at a specific time, and they were here.  I like that.  The man was very courteous.  He showed us the various features of the lock before he installed it to make sure it was what we wanted.  He made sure that it was keyed to the other locks in the house.  I was very pleased.  He went about his business and did what he needed to.  We are very pleased with the end product.  I checked around for prices before I called him, and I thought his price was very fair.

They responded same day which was great. The re-key went fine and quick. The only negative is that he didn't clean up after himself so there was drilled wood shavings all over the floor at each door he re-keyed. Maybe they should carry a little dust buster with them. Other than that he did a good job and was professional.

A co-worker of mine needed to get a new lock for her file cabinet because she lost the key. She went to Englewood Lock and Safe and was able to purchase a new key after giving the brand of file cabinet and the number written on the tumbler. Unfortunately, once she got back to the office she discovered the key didn't work. She called them and initially they said they would need to have someone come to the office and re-key the tumbler and it would cost her around $80. When the service person arrived he popped the lock and took it to his truck and worked on it for approx 20 minutes. He brought the tumbler back in, reinstalled it in the file cabinet and explained they had cut the key wrong so there was no additional charge. The service person was very professional and polite. We will definitely be using Englewood Lock and Safe in the future.

I had been to several businesses to have a key cut for a travel trailer. However, no one had a key that would work for the trailer. Finally a hardware store told me that Englewood Lock and Safe would be the best bet to have the key blank required. When I arrived the employee was not sure he could help; however the owner looked at the key and told him the blank to use. It worked.

THEY CONSIDER THIS SORT OF SITUATION AN EMERGENCY, AND SEND SOMEONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THEY WERE SO HELPFUL, EVEN SUGGESTING THAT MY CAR INSURANCE MIGHT RE-EMBURSE ME, (WHICH THEY DID). I WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY LOCK OR KEY NEEDS.
