On Monday 2 techs and 2 supervisors were here installing their dishes and boxes for over 6 hours. The connection to our second TV is "creative". Friday at 5PM we turned on the TV to watch football then the last of the Olympics and there was no reception. After 2 hours of diagnostics, then trying to schedule a repair I was dropped 5 times. They wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor or a dispatcher/router. They said the best they could do was Sunday afternoon "if they can squeeze us in". So we'll miss the three football games and all the rest of the Olympics. When the money was on the line to switch services over to Dish, the install was the next morning.... but repairs? Forget it. They don't have time, because "our repair guys are very busy and overloaded." Gee, I wonder why. No one was blatantly "rude", but "Wally" was barely in the civil category. One CSR would only mumble her name. But seemingly the standard way to help, is "put you on hold, then disconnect". I was told to call the "Router" the next day at 6am; so I did. Complete Night and day here. Courtious, understanding and genuinely was interested in getting the issues resolved. He called in a reserve that drove 50 miles out of his territory shortly before 1pm. He ended up replacing half the equipment with the assurance, "if it blinks, let us know and we'll come out and replace it again until we get it right." The girls got their football and the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, so all is quiet and good for now.

A terrible experience, akin to the AOL one currently circulating. Unfortunately I didnot record it. They refused to accept the fact I was moving and changing service. They said I would be very unhappy with the competitor. Actually took 2 months to cancel, which added an extra month of billing and I paid just to escape the company.

I indicated that was absurd, and I wanted the system removed. They said they would shut off service but I would have to deal with their local rep, Infiniti Marketing. With difficulty I reached them. They disconnected me continuously, passed me between numerous people, but the final outcome was that they wanted $250 removal fee paid to tech (even though I had all equipment down and in their original boxes). They also demanded $600 for penalty fees. I refused to pay the fees and they refused to collect the equipment. I have written letters, made countless phone calls - I get nowhere with these people - except rudeness, lies, etc. The whole business smells a lot like extortion, fraud, among other things.

THIS WAS A SITUATION THAT CAUSED A LOT OF WASTED TIME ON OUR PART, AND A UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER THAT HAD BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 4 YEARS, AND 10 MONTHS.
