DISH Network LLC

I do not have a Dish Network account.  After this incident I NEVER WILL.  About five weeks ago my wife began receiving calls on her cell phone that our Dish Network subscription was about to be cancelled for non-payment, which is bizarre since we don't have Dish Network service.  Kind soul that she is she tried to reason with the caller.  About a week later she received a call that the account had been submitted for collection.  Again, we do not have a DN account.  She has called four times to ask them to stop calling.  I have called four times and have been assured, starting a week ago, that the number had been removed from  their computer system.  I also sent a letter telling them to stop calling around the 23rd of July.  All these efforts have been ignored.  Between the 25th of July and the 3rd of August they called over 40 times, not an exaggeration.  Despite the calls from me and from my wife they continue to call, as recently as 0930 this morning. I contacted an attorney on Wednesday of this week.  He tells me that this is harassment, which is illegal, and he is sending them a letter to cease using that number to try to collect this debt.  Also, each time they contact us the person is different they're trying to reach and the amount owed is different.  These are arrogant unkind people.  I wish I could erect a banner on their corporate headquarters telling how absolutely uncaring and arrogant they really. He recommended that I just terminate my service and told this to the Dish rep. But even though Dish Network couldn't solve the problem of the frequently blocked reception, the rep from the main office refused to allowed disconnection without charging me the early termination fee. Needless to say, this seemed incredibly unfair and fought my way up the pecking post of their staff ladder as far as they would let me go. So i was stuck!
