I have been working with them for 20 years. They have been under new ownership for the last couple of years. They are a company that does not do work unnecessarily and they communicate well. The new owner was handpicked by the old owner and he has been continuing with the philosophy. I highly recommend them.

Everything has gone very well and we?ll continue to use them.

We really appreciate them. Every time we take our car in for maintenance or repairs, we know they are going to do a good job. We don?t feel that they have ever overstated the problem or made any attempts to cheat us. We don?t go to the dealerships where we got the cars now, because we feel so confident with Davis?s work. They are sensitive to my chemical allergies, and go above and beyond to close the doors when I come in. They are really nice people, and they truly know what they are doing. They are absolutely excellent. They are the only place we go, and they do a super good job and always have.

Since they have changed owners we have not been happy with the service. We have 3 cars so we have used them several times since the change in the business. Previously, the owner would tell us what was wrong and whether it was urgent to fix or not. They only charge by the full hour now, so the price comes out to be nearly double. I found that they have not been forthright with the information they gave me. I had taken a car there because the engine light was on and they told me that if I didn't have a repair done, about $1200 worth of work, that my car wouldn't pass code for air pollution but just a month prior I had my car inspected and it passed. Also, the light never came back on. In the past Davis would tell us that it may have been a hiccup and that if the light came back on that we should look into it, but in this case the new owner did not offer this advice. We have always asked that they call us when the repair is finished and we always end up having to call them and see if it is ready, it is really bothersome that they don't value this aspect of customer service.

There is nothing more valuable than a mechanic you can trust. After moving to Denver from Chicago, I was on a desperate search to find a new "golden" mechanic (and this is no easy task). I am so happy to say that Davis Auto Repair is my new favorite mechanic. I called Davis Auto after noticing my brakes making a terrible noise. Hannah (who answers the phones and manages the front office), was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I was hoping they could take a look at my car within a day or two. Hannah was able to squeeze me in the same day. When I mentioned that I needed to find a rental car...they offered to drop me off and pick me up so I wouldn't have to spend the money on a rental. This was a huge help and it was so wonderful that they offered to do so. When I dropped off my car, I also asked that they perform an alignment. After inspection, they pointed out that it was my tires causing the problem (as they needed to be replaced) and did not waste my money on an alignment that was un-needed. The work was done quickly and everyone was great! I would highly recommend Davis Auto Repair. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!

They do the repair that needs to be done, nothing more. They are pretty honest and give a fair price. They are competent in their work.

Vehicle would not start. It seemed to have dead battery or an electrical problem. It turned out the battery was dead. The battery was still under warranty so I exchanged at the retailer. Davis then reinstalled it and replaced the battery cable. My complaint is that it shouldn't cost $80 in labor to tell me my battery is dead. My other complaint is that the receptionist held a personal conversation on the telephone while I tried to check in the vehicle and explain the problem.

They said that they would call back with an estimate and they never followed up or called with an estimate or questions.

The people at Davis Repair are honest and very good. They stand by their work and they will even tell you when a requested repair may be unnecessary. I've been going to them for at least 12 years now and have nothing but great things to say about them. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. I don't have any clue how much I have actually paid for their services over the years, but I had to put something in the column in order to fill the report out.

EXCELLENT! THE DEALER I TOOK IT TO THE DAY BEFORE WANTED TO CHARGE ME $600+ FOR AN ENTIRE NEW ASSEMBLY. DAVIS SAID THAT IT HAD JUST COME LOOSE AND WASN'T ABLE TO DRIVE THE WINDOW UP.

DAVIS AUTO REPAIR IS AN EXTREMELY TRUSTWORTHY INDEPENDENT REPAIR GARAGE AND THEY PROVIDE THEIR REPAIR SERVICES FOR A REASONABLE PRICE COMPARED TO DEALERS.

I HAVE FOUND THEM VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON ALL MAKES OF CARS, BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN. THEY PROVIDE A WRITTEN QUOTE AND ALWAYS CALL IF SOMETHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE DONE. EVEN AFTER MAJOR REPAIR WORK THE CAR IN VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND ALWAYS COMPETED ON TIME.
