They did an awesome job. They were very professional and honest. Much to my surprise they detailed it while they had it. I am glad that I found them. I was able to negotiate all the work needed over the phone, including having it towed there without me needing to be there. They were easy to work with. If you are in Denver I would check them out

Davis Repair fixed a power steering pump under warranty that was damaged by another auto mechanic. This is the second time I've taken my car to Davis Repair to fix mistakes by other repair shops. They were very professional and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Suddenly, my Honda Accord with 400,800 hassle–free miles coughed to a stop! I never had dealt with a mechanic before. So, I signed up with Angie's List and found Davis Auto Repair with a high rating. I called and talked to Larry Brown, who took time to consult with me and offer advice, alternative possibilities, and possible costs. He recommended a reliable tow service. The tow truck driver showed up on time and took my Honda to Davis' shop. Soon, Larry called and suggested specific solutions. He told me that this particular carburetor ('83 Accord) was very complicated, so I had the option of using a carburetor-specialist across town. As it turned out, long ago Larry had a car like mine (yay). So, I had confidence in Larry's ability, even though we had never met. I told him I would rather do business with someone who can provide other services rather than a specialist whom I would likely never need again. Actually, Larry manages several technicians at Davis. Yet, he did the work himself and took special care of my vintage Honda. We kept in touch by phone. He discovered that the problem was with the carburetor floats. So he overhauled the carburetor and installed a carburetor kit. Within a few days, Larry called and said the car was ready. When I arrived, I was impressed by his modern, very clean shop. He took the time to explain to me the problems he had solve, and then introduced me to everyone who works there. I was thrilled when I saw my car sitting in the lot... It had been washed and vacuumed, too! And… it drove like brand-new. Money well spent. YAAAY!

Good service. They took me to work and picked me up afterwards. The did an excellent job checking the items I wanted checked on my car. The prices for the work they did were reasonable. Some of the quotes they provided for additional work were high, but they didn't do anything I did not want done.

Davis had many great reviews (and a special deal going), so we gave them a call. They got us in the next day (we just needed an oil change and a checkup before a road trip) and their service was quick and efficient and they didn't come out to the lobby with a list of other stuff that needed to be fixed. That was a refreshing change! It would've been reassuring if they had come out and told me what they checked and how everything looked, though. Are the brakes in good shape? The fluids and filters? Also, the staff wasn't particularly welcoming when I entered, but who needs good bedside manner when the doctor is proficient?

All was great: front office was super pleasant and knowledgeable and when the inspection was done, the owner had done it himself, they didn't charge me anything! He said I didn't need to worry about the brake pads for quite some time. He walked me to my car and got me on my way. Strongly recommend.

Our guages went dead while driving, and soon after our engine cut out, and we were unable to jump it and get it started again. We had our vehicle towed to Davis Auto Repair, and they replaced the battery and alternator, and while it was in the shop, we decided to fix a problem with our heater / ac in the car which was preventing us from changing the temperature. Davis Auto Repair swapped out the blend door actuator which fixed the problem. The repairs were completed quickly, and Larry kept in touch throughout the process to keep me informed. The car was returned washed, vacuumed, and with interior surfaces wiped down, which was an unexpected, and nice gesture.

The service was great, the car was in and out a lot faster than I expected it to be, with everything checked out. Highly recommend this place.

I had asked for a transmission fluid change, but instead of just doing it and taking my money, they said I really could wait. I appreciate the honesty and good customer service!

The best experience, hands down, I've had for a car repair. What really impressed me about Davis was their honesty. I had previously been told my rear brake pads needed to be replaced, but when Davis had a look, they noted the pads were still good and noted it may be another year before they needed replacement. This saved me about $300. They also replaced a few light bulbs at no charge and best of all, washed the car and completely wiped down and vacuumed the interior. What a pleasant surprise! Will definitely use them again!

Larry and Hannah were great. They got me in the same day for an oil change and provided me with a ride to and from my office. Larry came by and introduced himself. In addition, I used a coupon and they did not charge me the extra for the more expensive oil my car requires. I know that this is my go to place from now on---trustworthy and reliable.

I started to hear some concerning noises when I turned the steering wheel and used Angie's list to find a reputable dealer to diagnose the problem before I started a 500 mile trip home. Davis Auto responded quickly, honestly, and with a friendly attitude, letting me know that an oil change was advised but that the noise was not worrisome and would not be a reason to hesitate to drive home. If I lived in Denver, they would be my go-to auto mechanic shop.

Initially I took my 1999 Acura TL to the Acura dealer. They said is was going to cost $1300.00 to fix my right headlight, but as a goodwill gesture, they would take $200 off that. They said that an "inverter" had failed. Immediately I went over to Davis Auto Repair. Hannah had a mechanic look at the light right way, replaced it with a good light bulb, and ta da, a perfectly good working light. They then showed me how to fix it if it should ever break again.

My husband and I have been going to Davis for our two cars since we moved to Colorado last year. They are very friendly and can fit you in pretty fast. I don't know a lot about cars, and they are always happy to answer my questions without making me feel stupid. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend Davis Auto Repair.

Called for an appointmemt. Dropped off car. Work was performed. Picked up the car. Spoke with the owners daughter. Very friendly and answered all my question. I wish they had a check sheet of the inspection for my records.

We are hopeful that Davis can fill in as our local mechanic. So good so far.

I have an older car; grateful to find a shop that is responsive and reasonably priced. Mr. Brown got me in the day after I called; gave me an estimate and went to trouble to get me money back on a warrenty eventhough the part was not pruchased at his shop. And the folks there are super nice.

We heard about the great services and prices at Davis Repair by word of mouth, and our first experience with them was so positive that we have taken all 6 of our family cars to them ever since. They do great work in a reasonable amount of time, never recommend any repair unless it is absolutely needed and never inflate their charges... the specific work done and the cost of any parts needed are always itimized on our receipt. In addition to the reasons already listed, we trust Davis Repair because they are HONEST, a trait that can be hard to find in the auto repair industry!

Generally went ok. After the rear differential fluid change, we had to drive the vehicle to Arizona, where it was going to be garaged from then on. Just under a year later, an undercarriage inspection revealed the rear differential was now leaking fluid. Had a couple of trusted mechanics look at it, and the conclusion was, it was caused by the process of what needed to be done to get to the differential to change the fluid. It appears we now have no options from Davis due to the location of the vehicle. We've used Davis before with satisfactory results, but not in this instance.

Excellent experience! Larry Brown,the owner, picked me up and dropped me off at my home while my car was being worked on. Davis Repair steam cleaned the bottom of my engine to better diagnose where the leaks were originating. They took care of my oil leak and my transmission leak. They also performed a transmission flush. I feel confident that the work will extend the life of my1999 Chrysler Cirrus. Upon completion of the work, I was given a complimentary full-service car wash coupon for Autawash. I was very pleased with the professionalism of Davis Repair and I will definitely use them again.

They are a very honest company, which is hard to find in an auto mechanic. You can also trust the diagnostics, and they are repairing only the things that need to be repaired.

I really like them and I have been using them for several years for different kinds of cars like. I have always been very pleased. They are very conservative as far as pushing you into something before you need it.
